We do an early Christmas with my parents in Cape Breton the last weekend of November every year. My son calls it "Christmas in Cape Breton" like it's an actual holiday..LOL We do the whole thing, decorate the tree, have Christmas dinner and open gifts Then at home me, hubby and Trent do our gifts on Christmas morning. We do let Trent open pajamas Christmas Eve

Buddy was there a gift you had always wanted growing up that you never got? Also what was the favorite gift you ever got and do you still have it?

My favorite gift was one of those stuffed toys that you could wrap the arms and legs around you, it was a raccoon and I called it Rocky..LOL I drug that poor thing around with me for years, and I still have it The gift I really wanted but was never allowed to have was an atari..remember those?? LOL My Mom didn't allow video games and said Santa had to follow house rules...LOL

Gift I always wanted but never got was moon shoes. I asked for them for several years! BUT my best friend did get some one year so I was able to use them everytime I went to her house!

My most favourite gift of all time (I actually got for my birthday when I was 4 or 5) was a doll's bed that was made by my Grampsy & paint by a family friend (the same one who spent over an hour putting together my barbie tropical beach hut, and later became my step-grandfather) and then my Grandma made the bedding (mattress, sheets & pillows to match my bedroom at the time). I still have it and I am planning to give it to my DD this christmas!

Just got bit by our cat multiple times in the scalp! WTH!!!

Was arguing with DBF (not so dear though), and the cat jumped on my head while I was lying on our bed! He seemed upset with us arguing and then jumped on my head!!!

So, now I'm at the hospital to get antibiotics, and have them look at the bite marks!

Really did not think this was how my day would turn out.

Did some shopping today for my buddy! Also had an amazon package arrive on Friday! Still have a few days to shop for, and a few projects to finish......but hopefully will be done in the next week or so. Still trying to figure out the order of gifts....and how to wrap them up so my buddy can't guess what they are ahead of time.

Thing I always wanted and never got as a kid? LOL "Moon shoes" they were in the Sears Wishbook catalogue every year and I never got them.

Fav thing I got and still have? I'd have to say some of the special christmas ornaments I was given. I love setting up my tree every year, takes me back to my childhood with all the memories.

Did the 20x shoppers today ad now am sure we have 6 months supply of tampons (with what I have in my stockpile and what I bought. I had to move them into green bins because my unmentionables bucket was already jammed packed. You should have seen the look my DS gave me LMAO

Sorry for not being able to answer questions for my buddy the last 2 days, I will attempt to get caught up on them tomorrow.

My last 24 hours have been sheer he77, and my nerves are fried. Busy day at work and then running around with the kids activities until 8 last night. Then wouldn't you know it on our way home, I hit a COW!!!!!!!! Deer, Moose, even a coyote I can understand, but a poor farmers cow........ all I can think of all day as I am dealing with the RCMP and insurance, is that "it could have been so much worse" both my daughters, dog and I are all fine, even the cow survive, but I might be shopping around for a new car now, I am thinking that they might write it off. 6 inches closer the the middle of the car and even the RCMP say I wouldn't have been so lucky.

What a weekend.... I am going to need some more retail therapy to help me get over this one.

Buddy, I have finished your homemade item. Not much drama to report.. I did glue my hand to my couch but hubby quickly grabbed a soapy washcloth...

It varies from year to year because on odd years I don't have my oldest son until boxing day , but always 1 Christmas Eve which is usually pjs for my boys and matching - and if it is my year to have my oldest it is Christmas morning or if I don't we wait until Boxing day
