Price match, how does it work?

I know that Zellers has Secret deoderant for $1.50 but they are sold out. I'm told that WalMart will price match. My question is can the staff at the checkout do it or do I pay first and then have to go to the customer service desk? This is not something I have tried before.

as far as i know you need to bring in the flyer to the but i am not sure wether it is the cashier or customer service. but as far as I know you bring in the flyer from the other store and the product from this store and they will price match. but i have never done it.

I have done this the cashier does it right at the till. they basically do a price over-ride and put in the flyer or competitor price. some new cashiers might call for the supervisor to do this but yes it is normally done right at the till

You need to bring in a current flyer. If it isn't in the flyer you are SOL. They will do it for you right there. I got my Hillary Duff perfume last christmas really cheap this way.
