Reputations?

sooo the other day when i came on here i had 3 notifications one was a like recieved and 2 were new reputations i believe it said..... umm what are those haha?

they are a way of a user saying I agree, or hello or anything else. They are meant to be a way of saying I agree and a user with high reputation would be more trusted with deals but they have turned into a private message system etc
you can leave a reputation by clicking the star button under a person's name on any post

another question hahaha can you give someone a rep without finding a post from them? like some where on there page? cause i dont see the star thing only when someone has a post.. thanks (if this makes sense haha)

Since we're on the rep conversation. How come some people have hearts and others have stars, and why are they different colours? And why do my "bars" get short and then long and then short again? I should probably know this by now...but I don't. And it still fascinates me lol.

Every time you get reps, they give you so many "points", you get so many dark green bars, they turn into a light green bar, when that fills, it turns into a yellow bar. When it reaches enough points, the bars turn into stars and it starts all over again and the stars go to hearts

Oh! Thank you!!! I got a yellow star now lol Oh but now my reps look empty. Lol. Ok. Don't mind me, I should be in bed right now lol! Thank you for explaining that to me...it all makes perfect sense now
