WERE THEY STACKING FRIENDLY or STACKING MEANIES?
Regardless of their company policies for coupon stacking, some cash supervisors enforce different rules. To spare us a potentially wasted trip, EDIT THIS WIKI POST by sharing the location & rules that were enforced after your last COUPON STACKING attempt. The information you provide may be used by others to determine where they will tender their coupon stacks.
PROV TOW STORE LOCATION LATEST STACKING DA/MO/YR SC MEMBER ie: BC ie: NANAIMO ie: SOF ie: Woodgrove ie: cannot stack "cannot be combined with any other offer" (EXAMPLE ONLY) 11/12/13 sTACKiNtHEbOX BC Surrey SOF Nordel Way Could not stack at all. Was told (and shown) that any coupon with the wording "Limit one coupon per purchase" would not be allowed to stack. (Also, Limit one coupon per transaction, per customer) in addition to previous clauses (ie. Cannot be combined with any other offer, rebate, coupon, etc.).

I read the policy and I am relieved they still allow coupon stacking. The restrictive fine print phrase, Cannot be combined with any other offer, rebate, coupon, etc. isn't mentioned on the 31/10/2012 Overwaitea Food Group Coupon Acceptance Practice attachment I received. However, the following 4 fine print phrases are:
"Stacking isn't allowed if the fine print says:
- One coupon per purchase
- Use of more than one manufacturer coupon per product is strictly prohibited
- Only one coupon valid per purchase
- Limit one coupon per customer, limit one coupon per purchase"

This is an email response I received this morning in response to my questions regarding coupon stacking at Save On.
Hi Monica,
With the increase of stacking confusion and due to certain ethical policies that are put forth by the manufactures we are no longer able to accept coupon stacking. However you are able to stack one Overwaitea coupon with one manufactures coupons.
Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.
Sincerely,
Steve

The only thing I would like to add is that if a new coupon policy is in effect, such as with SOF, I guess it's an ethical question as to wether or not you should try and stack (knowing that you are not allowed) even if the cashier you are dealing with may not be aware of the new policy. It is clear from the email received by hijinx25 that SOF will no longer be accepting coupon stacks.
Since it's know by anyone reading these threads, I guess it a case of right or wrong with a persons own self.We all need a little sunshine every now and then

^ This good news!
What we don't know, is if this is a directive from the Jim Pattison Group to all it's grocery subsidiaries, a chain wide policy amendment, or a stand alone stacking policy at the store that customer service Steve works at. Historically, the Overwaitea Food Group hasn't been consistent with the enforcement of coupon stacking policies. It is possible each store has it's own policies for coupons stacking. I'm hoping so

FYI - Customer Service Steve is from Overwaitea corp - this email is from head office in Langley. Could be regional though? (I hope for all of your sakes). I've been phoning around here and asking, and so far it ain't looking good.
