I don't especially give a rat's fanny about "reputation points" or whatever. I mean really... they're coupons for pete sake. I find it unwelcoming that newer members get these dun dun DUN "negative" reputation things for posting something they didn't know wasn't kosher...

Ok.. so... having said that, isn't it sort of bad form to be spamming other members to get them to join something so you can make more points? I got an email from someone here I've never spoken with, asking me to join a couple of stupid point based sites so they can save more. Uh.. no? In a signature is fine, but emails to strangers?

I'd send the pms to one of the mods and Boo and delete. I'd not bother spending any more time on one from some-one I don't "know" on the board.


But yes...hasseling other members isn't a pleasant thing for the reciever.

Hi Sammi . I'll answer your second question first. There's a "report post" button on your private messages. If you feel someone is spamming you, just report it.

As for your first, all members are encouraged to do the same, ie. "report post" if a forum rule is broken, or thought to be broken. The forum moderators will deal with it .
