I thought I would share this. I have seen several Sc'ers post about the information they give on their facebook page and how they are mistaken most of the time and I thought this mistake would make some of you laugh.

I have a question regarding the gift card promo that is coming up on the 10th Of November. This is when I plan on buying my Christmas presents (for those who recieve GC's) . What will the rules be for this promo ? will it be one set of bonus points per card or can we purchase more?




Shoppers Drug Mart Hi Elaine, we do not actually have a gift promotion on the 10th of November. Can you clarify your question so I can assist you? Is your question around the collection of points when you buy gift cards and how that works?

excellent!!!! Making my GC list as well! Got a lot for gas last year, along with McD for dates with DD, tims for treats and toy r us for gifts. Also grabbed some SDM to cover taxes and other purchases throughout the year. Had a good number split between our own use and gifts for others...so great to have those expenses "pre-paid" and earn points!

Yes. I saw that too. Someone else posted too that even with the optimum discount, their prices are still higher that some other store's regular price.

yes - I must admit that I cringe every time I read about calls to HO or facebook posts about a flyer that has not even been released yet.

Actually I don't knew until now, and always wonder why only pc card charge this and not others, We have this card from years, Now I think we have to call them. Thanks for informing. And like always got some useful information for s.cers.

its really offtopic but.. you do know balance protection is optional right? in fact they wont sign you up automatially... you must have signed up by mistake(they call lots trying to get you to get it ).
its really a crappy insurance in my mind but it works for some people i guess..
