I thought if we were participating in advent train we couldn't participate in secret Santa?

if I have recieved your tracking number than we have comfirmation you have sent your gift....it really is no different than when a second pkge train starts...if the tracking numbers are in for the first train you can join the next train starting......it is done this way so we know a pkge has been sent ...that is why on ALL pkge trains/SC exchanges Tracking Numbers are MANDATORY....

So I had a "stop me dead" in an aisle at Rexall tonight. I'm there to take advantage of their sale on Herbal Essence and use up my BOGOS.

ANYWAY, I turn around and there is a cute medium size displayer that has Poise Liners on it. The sign says "Poise Petite Pack Liners $3 (16 count)". The displayer says "save $3 on Poise Petite Pack Liners"--- HUH?!?!??!?!?!?

I pull out a pack... yup, $3 peelie on them. So, I "bought" 6. Completly free.... tons still there.. do people not watch for these things.

I came across this deal a few months ago at Sobey's and now have a very large supply of Poise - thanks to my kids, a heavy lifting job previously and a botched hysterectomy Poise and I are great friends.

One more dayshift and then I am off til Wednesday night - yay! I HATE 12 hour dayshift weekend.

Went to SDM last night and bought all the stuff for the Pipe Bands Xmas Gift Basket raffle and scored 38000 points but I was outdone by a lady who was there to buy 500 boxes of Pot of Gold, many $200 cameras and more for her company's corporate Xmas party! when they asked if she had an Optimom card she said "I sure do!!!!!" All I could think was YOU GO GIRL!!!

I really hope they do have the MR, I have worked all year to earn 6 95000's and planned to do a lot of Xmas shopping with it. Booked time off work and everything so we can go to the city and make a weekend of it. I will be holding my breath til then.

So, yesterday I went on a rare movie date with hubby & my parents watch the munchkin! (our last movie date was over about a year ago when we went to see Hugo). We had passes (like every good couponer lol) but this time we didnt have ones that covered food. OMG for 1 popcorn, 1 drink & 1 small bag of candy (the basic combo) it was $15!!!! A pop by itself was $5.09 plus tax!! That's CRAZY!!! We ended up getting 1 popcorn and bottle water for $11 with tax - OUCH! (next time I am going to be bringing my own drink) We saw Skyfall - it was soooo good! Love James Bond!

The plan for today is to check out the Santa Claus parade. I have actually never been to see it despite living in the city my whole life (we always just watched on tv). Hopefully DD enjoys it!

Julia, we'll be at the Santa Claus parade too! We're leaving at 10am to scout out a good spot... I've been once before with my nephew and I warn you, it's always chaotic and packed, so get there super early!! Enjoy!!

Our parade was last night...it is really pretty at night time with all the lights, etc.

It was a nice parade, but it was 2 hours long! The kids are good for the 60 - 90 minutes, after that, they are tired and cold, etc but have to stay to see Santa

Thank goodness for the live band, dancers, gymnasts and cheerleaders to keep Emma up and dancing!
