I am so not impressed!! Sears advertises a sale including Ladies winterwear. I had been to the city (4 hours away) a few weeks ago and saw a jacket that I liked for $159 regular price. I couldn't grab it at that moment so I came home and checked Sears.ca. The same jacket was $179 reg. price online. I decided to wait for a sale. Well everytime there is a sale, there are very few colour choices or sizes available. Not a problem. Now with the Black Friday sale these same jackets were advertised on sale for $89. I kept checking since my colour and or size (depending on when I visited the page) was not in stock. Today it is in stock!!! So I click on it and it takes me to the check out page and it is $199!!! I check back to the sale page and try various combinations of colours and sizes and see that it's very random what is available at the sale price. For example, the pink is on sale in small but not medium and large. The purple is on sale on medium but not small or large etc, etc. So I call the call centre and get someone who can't speak very good english and he tells me that yes, that is right, only some on sale. What????? So a few jackets on sale and the rest are priced more than regular price at $199??? Never again Sears, never again.

I've noticed the same thing with various stores, not just Sears. It sucks sometimes because you get really excited about a sale just to find out that it's not going to happen.

I know what your saying. I needed to get my granddaughter snow boots. The ones I liked are $10 more expensive than a different colored one. They are the exact same brand, same size, the only difference is the color! Why should I have to pay over $10 more, just because the boots my granddaughter wants are purple! Really now?????!!!!!

Frustrating, yes - but it's not just at Sears - happens with other online retailers, as well as instore!

grr! not happy to hear this.
i checked out online with a 10% coupon code...all was well until AFTER i submitted my order. the coupon code got cancelled on their end AFTER i paid. when i called customer service they said that the cashier can fix it easily when i pick it up. this will have to be the case or i will return all of the order.
i could have pushed harder for them to fix it over the phone, but i'm also trying to PM and i HAVE to wait until i pick it up to do so. PM and THEN applying the 10% off would be better for me so i decided to hang up with customer service and deal with it when i pick it all up.pick the weeds and leave the flowers

They are quiet bad at inventory and price listing for a catalogue company.
I've bought a coat at one of their one-day sale online. When I receive it, it was an entirely different coat, only similarity is that it is white. They want to charge me for restocking fee when I try to return it to the store. The item number on the receipt is identical to the item number on the product, the problem was the webpage. They have a mixed up with the item# and everyone who bought size 8 would get another coat with fur hat in Small. The customer service woman was mean, she thinks that it is what I have ordered and "size 8 equal Small". She wouldn't take it back unless I pay $3 for restocking and no refund for shipping fee. I paid the $3 and went home to call the online shopping hotline and they did refund me the rest. Wasted me hours!
In your case, have you tried telephone shopping? If you know the item number, you can buy over the phone.

Last night my comment showed up on their website. Eric asked me to send the details in an email. I did and will wait to see what happens. The item is out of stock now.
