Lets Write A Story - Contribute A Sentence

I will start.

The moon was especially pale as Paul walked home through the crooked path.......

a soft mist glistened in its glow, broken only by the shadows of barren trees.

[operabob]

Had Paul walked along the path instead of through it he'd have seen the gaping hole.

[vesper]

"Nuts" he screamed as he approached the ground face first!

[i_forget]

impaled, Paul crouched into the fetal position....

[gryphon]

Crying in anguish he called out to any who would help, not expecting the call to be answered by the devil himself.

[i_forget]

And with no regrets, the devil stomped on Paul like he was a spider.
The end.

Or is it then end? the devil stares at Paul with a menacing smile as if to say

"I know your secrets" for this was a devil of a man not a devilish demon.

so he sits on the grass,his head in his hands,and says

[operabob]

"I could use an Ice-cap and a bandage right about now!"

[TudorChick]

says paul's human self in his mind,his mind deeply scarred by the darkness,the darkness of what she did to him....he sits and thinks...

The warmth radiates and stings his cheeks, as Paul slowly opens his eyes to the sight of a stranger holding an oil lantern rather close to his face.

The stranger pulls his face close to Paul's and says,"How we gonna get outa dis here 'ole?"
