well the empty house thing didn't last long. should have known. after heading out and grabbing some more goodies for presents i went to SDM to get some milk and met my Mommie at the bank
.. so relieved. haven't talk in awhile.. im a bad girl.. she gave me a much needed ride home and promised to pick up hubbies 'big' gift next week at costco for me. yay. nice to see her. guess my dad is driving her nuts.. what do ya do with an 80year old pita she says. umm. lol. guess he's sick and not the greatest patient.
anyway enough of my rant. im still in shock that xmas is only like 2 weeks awayish.Be Strong

ok ladies i need some help! We currently have a super cute set of personalized stockings....that have been discontinued
So right now my little Owen is stockingless. And because i'm a little obsessive about having a family set i need to find 4 new stockings to personalize. So my problem is i dont' know where to look! I really want them personalized and the only plaes i can think of that does this is Things engraved, which has a horrible selection this year and online, which will never get to us in time. Any suggestions? or do i need to suck it up and just get some cute ones from Winners and forgo the personalization.....anyone?

Kids were home sick for almost two weeks...
Back at school for two days, then two hours into today I get a call to pick my sick kids up
UUGGHH...
My hubby has FINALLY returned to work after being off for 4 1/2 years (cancer, and then anklosing spondelytis), and I own a cleaning company. I have clients that will ONLY let me clean their home and will not allow my employees to go in;
How do double income families do it? What do you do when you both have to work and your kids are sick?
Hubby can't take time off in his second week of his new job; I already skipped houses last week to stay home with them...
How do you convince someone to come in with your SICK kids? What would THAT rate of pay be???
My husband would be MORE than happy to have me at home full time, but after so many years of interacting with only children, you start to loose your marbles...
I enjoy working a couple days a week, and I actually started a business to support us while he was sick, so I can't really just walk away from that...
