I also just sent the msg on their site and incl this as well (there is no fb page, which is fortunate for them, imagine all the complaints!):

Garnier Canada made a mistake recently and announced everyone won a contest, but they were very generous with their correction, & sent us all a full size lotion free product coupon! Now that's a company that knows the value of treating customers very right & ensuring they have a positive impression with them and returning customers.

I did think that the giveaway was a bit ambitious for a smaller company- we're not talking P&G here. Up to 3 pairs?!?!? Insane! I hope that they just realized that they were in over their head and it wasn't a case of "let's drive a bunch of traffic and grab a bunch of emails with no intention of fulfilling orders".

I haven't received the email yet but am doubtful I will actually receive anything if the person who posted the deal got the email that they were out since I signed up after that...

Both my daughter and I and everyone else I know who entered received this email. This is what I sent them: I feel this promotion was just a way for your company to harvest emails and personal information. I submitted my request immediately. If you ran out of them, it should have been posted at the time of submission, not weeks after by email. Offering 25% off is a slap in the face!

Sent them a letter asking them to remove my contact information and that of the people I signed up for the promo from their system.

i emailed them with a bit of a complaint and the emailed back right away and said they would mail me one.

They should be doing it without complaining!

We should have known we'd get nothing when they never asked for a size - the thought of a one-size fits all thong seems a bit strange.
