I made homemade chicken soup to see if it would help this cold but I don't think it works the same if you have to make it yourself...I want my Mommy

Christmas Eve we go to a friend's house for a HUGE buffet style meal, Christmas Day I cook a turkey with all the trimmings and on Boxing Day I always make myself a birthday lasagna..but I do not bake myself a cake, that's where I draw the line!! Dinner was Bombay chicken pre-made by the grocery store
christmas dinner will be turkey made by my parents
Christmas Eve dinner is usually roast lamb ( mmmmmmm.......my fav) at my parents, but this year we will be at my MIL's and for some weird reason she wants to do Xmas dinner on Sunday, even though we are there on Xmas eve

Both of you... don't be silly! I'm sure your mini packages will be absolutely perfect for your buddies. I am jealous of everyone who can bake and is sending yummy treats to enjoy.
REMEMBER: we do not "compare" packages... EVER!
As for my dinner... it was Totitos Chips & Salsa. It's vegetables.. right?!?
Christmas we all go to moms and have "potluck"--The 3 girls & hubby's are each responsible for something and my mom makes the turkey, stuffing and meatballs for me(Don't really enjoy Turkey much). Our menu this year:
Turkey, meatballs, stuffing, mashed potatoes, scalloped potatoes, perogies(with onions/bacon), brushetta bread, corn, cranberries, buns, gravy, cheese & pickle tray, veggie tray, pumpkin pie and sex in the pan<--- this is the best dessert in the world(my little sister is kind enough to make it EVERY get together)
I'm hungry......

Sex in the Pan:
1 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup icing sugar
1/2 cup melted margarine
1 cup flour
8 ounces Philadelphia Cream Cheese
1 cup white sugar
1 cup Cool Whip (buy large container)
1 (6 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
1 (6 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding (do NOT buy pie filling!!!)
chocolate shavings (optional)
3 cups milk
Directions:
1 Mix together the icing sugar, margarine, flour, and chopped pecans and press into a 9X13" pan. OR use 1 & 1/2 Graham cracker crumbs, 1/3 cup sugar, 1/3 cup melted butter and just press into 9x13 pan(this is my fave one)
2 Bake for about 15 minutes at 350 degrees F; Cool.
3 Mix cream cheese, white sugar, and ONE cup of cool whip; Spread on cool base.
4 Mix both packages of pudding and add 3 cups of milk.
5 Beat and spread on filling layer (don't worry it will thicken as it cools).
6 Spread remaining cool whip on top, add some shaved chocolate if you want and set in the fridge.
Best if it get 12 hours in the fridge....
SOOOOO YUMMY!
