    I'm ging to miss my kitty friend...She got along and was patient with the rabbit and guinea pigs...She would keep me company during the day, and sometimes sleep with her head on my pillow...Oh yeah, I guess I'll miss my son, the human, as well...

    Hello & good evening to one & all.

    Loocie has been feeling under the weather today & spent the better part of the day snoozing. Funny how if you miss a single day one here, you feel like you've been away a long time. (I wonder if that is a good thing?)

    I'm planning to retire with a gooey-gossipy magazine & see if I can't enlighten myself with some celebrity dirt!

    Taking a quick break from cleaning out the fridge (went to get a snack for us, only to feel something sticky - thinking the bottle of cola has a pinhole leak, sigh).

    You're not kidding CRN.... She's on a soft food diet for the next few weeks, so her meals were pureed in the hospital.... Here is a picture of her lunch and dinner yesterday:

    The worst part was that I didn't bring any food for her.... I was planning to (since she is a very fussy eater) but she convinced me not to.... We are so used to HSC where we actually have a full menu to choose from that I didn't even think that it wasn't an option at this hospital.... The nurses looked at me like I was from Mars when I asked if there was a menu....

    I really can't complain too much.... as I mentioned before, everyone was so nice and accommodating... They brought me in a big recliner and were trying to get me a cot from palliative care, but I guess there weren't any available... I didn't really care, as long as I had something since I didn't think they were going to let me stay in the first place.... the recliner was not as comfy as it looked, but it worked for the few hours that I slept... They took it away in the morning yesterday (since they needed it in day surgery) so I napped yesterday afternoon curled up putting two chairs together.... Yes... I was out like a light when I hit my bed last night....

    no time to nap today - I have no idea where the day went!!!
