my DH!!!

My DH was kind of pissed at me when he came home from work at 2:30 this morning as occasionally I get him to stop at the 24 hour Sobey's on his way home.

We needed Yogurt and Healthy Steamers. Of course I had FPC's and coupons (what Smart Canuck wouldn't) but what made it worse was the cashier saying "Here is the Coupon King".

Of course some of his work buddies were in line behind him and asked the cashier what she said and so she called him "The Coupon King" again.

His buddies all had a good laugh and then they made fun of his purse which was a normal shopping bag.

So DH I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate you shopping for me even if you do get razzed at work tonight.

Hope one night he has some of those Pepsi promotion coupons and can stock up on drinks, chips, popcorn and dip for free. I suspect they'd be jealous then!

Poor guy! Why can't people keep comments to themselves? I know if someone had said that to my DH, he wouldn't want to use one again for a long time. Erasing nearly 2 years of work it took me to get him to use them in the first place!

Hopefully he showed them the receipt and it made it all better

Tell him if he is KING that's all they need to remember. They are going to go home and tell the stories to their wives/girlfriends and they will bring them back down to earth and say. did he save money with those coupons? Hopefully they noticed and in no time some of them will be asking the 'KING" how he does it. Tell him to tell them you both work hard for your money and if you want to call me the coupon King because my wife and I know how to save and make the most of our money - I'll wear my title proudly.

Yaknow... there are a LOT of guys out there who would pay big bucks to have a total stranger call him a king. I think the guys at his work have kingular envy! Most of their wives spend every penny they have and then some... he married a woman that saves as much as she can. Way to go!
