Miami, FL (Sports Network) - Alex Rodriguez has been once again linked to performance-enhancing drugs.
According to the Miami New Times, Rodriguez's name was found in the records of a Miami anti-aging clinic that allegedly supplied the New York Yankees third baseman and other big league players with performance-enhancing substances.

Do you think that they should just let everyone use performance enhancing drugs and let the chips fall where they may or do you think they should enforce even tougher testing and ban these people for life with no exceptions and that may stop it. Is this something that is here to stay? Seems like it's been going on forever since the so called east german womans olympic teams in the 70's until now.
How many records will have to have an asterisk beside them because so and so ended up being a cheater.
Also looking back at Pete Rose and his ban for betting on sports. Do you really think now that this was fair? Is what he did really that much worse than the cheaters?Last edited by Patty Smyth; Wed, Jan 30th, 2013 at 10:53 AM. Reason: sp

I have no idea. But rules are rules. And if the rules say you cannot do something, you should not.
On the other hand, maybe they should allow some of the harmless things. Reason Magazine (Libertarian) examined many of the things banned, many of which have no negative impact at all if used properly.
What Lance Armstrong and Barry Bonds did, was way above and beyond that.
