Well the kids are off school for teachers convention, so we are off to see a movie, love that I didn't pay a penny for it, thanks to cereal otherwise for 4 kids and 2 mommies it would cost us over $80 just for movie tickets. See you all on the flip side :D

Question how do you all feel about the Target red debit card I hate that it ties to my bank card I wish it was just a loyalty card. I will probably get it because it would drive me nuts not to get the 5%

Anyone ever make on of the Duncan Hines or Betty whatever new apple caramel cakes? I made one today and it was so lovely when it came out of the oven and now it's barely an inch tall and shrivelled up after it cooled?

Ok I have this dilimea i am going through and need any advice possiable lol
as most of you know I have been wanting to move for a while I am just done with everything and can not find a full time job to save my soul here blah blah
SOOOOOO moving forward me and my mom had this thought.....
that maybe I move in with her with Kayla(my daughter) for apx a year to get my full license(have my beginners) get a job and get ahead a bit
It is hard to find a place witout a job and would NOT keep my current job
I would pay her rent apx 500-600 a month pay for my food ect
I can do this because of saving a bit plus vacation pay and icome tax coming up
My negative sides to it
BIG one is my son(who is 18) could move in them but I don't think it would be a good fit and this is where mommy guilt comes in lol he has yet to find his place changes every two minutes(was in college took two and three different courses did have a job for a couple months but yet to see him haand out more resumes) and to be honest I think he has a lack of get go in life my thought would to see if he could move with my brother who is MrPostive and really help him till he gets on his feet....would this be mean and cruel of me or is it good for me to get my llife together awwwwwwww!!!!!
Another negative at 38 not sure I like moving in with mom and dad even if tempory
Last but not least me and my dad do butt heads(but they also go to Floridia for two months lol and I would be a built in dog sitter)

sounds like a good idea. Tough in the meantime but will pay off in the long run! Plus your ex probably won't bug you at your parents.

im in a similar but different situation with the possible move to Calgary. Sucky for the first year or two but it the long haul it will pay off for our family. Still waiting to hear, maybe Monday? Waiting is the worst!

KK7, I think you have a good plan a brewin' there both for you an your son. Being at your moms will be motivation to save and be ready to get out!

So it's cheat day here, so I made the above cake and then made some salted caramel frosting for it - ohhhhhhh why did I do that. Don't make it... it is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good. I would put it wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy up there with cheesecake. It's a symphony of flavour in your mouth. and I used my $3 for 2 Wong Wings and going to have chinese for supper.

I'm still laughing at him...LOL He got his own package from Jezebel on the advent train so there was nothing in my package for him from Jezebel either...guess he has forgotten that part...LOL and yes Jezebel is super awesome too this thread is brimming with awesomeness!
