Well, I have a mini poodle who needs to be re-named "Houdini." I put a dog jacket on him and his "brother" last night so they could go out in the yard to relieve themselves......or did I? He came back minus the coat. Hmmm.. I guess, being a senior, I forgot to put it on but WHERE IS IT? I thought I'd left it somewhere in the house..... It's a knitted jacket that has to go over his head and then insert both legs. When the dawn broke and I let them out this morning....... there is his jacket under a tree at the back of the yard. HOW did he get it off???? Houdini! I found it turned inside out with no rips or tears just waiting to be picked up. Tah dah! I wonder if he'll take it off again? I wonder if a "pal" from another galaxy helped him to remove it? Is there a poodle-shirt-remover in the neighbourhood somewhere? (I guess I've been watching too many detective shows!)

Too funny! They seem to do their best work when nobody is watching!
Several times in a month (in the winter to boot) the back door was wide open in the morning when I got up and the furnace blasting away. It s a security sliding patio door, so it is hard to open. Most of my human friends cant figure out how to open it, but apparently the dog was watching and learning. I caught her one night in action in the wee hours as she open the door and proceeded to take out all her inside toys to the yard.
She came back in and just went back into her bed like nothing happened. Wish I had a video camera close by. Never would have dreamt that she could open that door! We had to dogproof it!Do you want to buy and sell Bitcoin? Sign up for Ndax to buy and sell bitcoin in Canada. Other altcoins available on the platform too! Quick, simple and secure.!. Quincy cat can do the same thing when wearing his "shirt" (well, really it's a dress, but since he's a boy...
). He reaches back, grabs the tail end of the shirt and pulls it up, uses his back paw to step on it, pulls out his head, then each front leg. Next thing ya know, he's sitting proudly beside an inside-out shirt.
As for Lily dog, the day I brought her home from the shelter (6 months old, untrained and crazy!), she decided she wanted to go exploring. So she went to the front door, stood up on her hind legs and opened the round door knob. She would have escaped if I hadn't been watching (doors are *always* kept locked now!).
Gotta love the bright ones, they certainly keep ya on your toes!

avon! I am not sure what was funnier, her slipping out of it or having you believe you had a senor's moment! Too cute!

Well, I washed his "houdini" coat today and I'll put it back on him. So we'll see if he can reproduce the "trick" escape.

So, Avon, have you caught "Houdini" in the act yet? Why is it they never do these things when there's a camera around?
Give Houdini and his brother a kiss from us.
