Montreal is applying the same fore checking game that worked for Ottawa by sending in two fore checkers at the puck carrier.

Let's see if it works for them or if the Leafs have learned to combat this offensive fore checking approach

Watched some of the game between the Leafs/Habs...no wonder I stopped watching....the Mike Brown penalty, I think was more a reputation call and didn't deserve the 5 minute/game misconduct and the penalty shot should not have been called as Grabo was not 2 strides ahead of the Hab defenceman, the were beside each other, penalty yes, penalty shot, NO...brutal referreeing..if they want to stop the hitting make the ice surface Olympic size, but that won't happen due to cost of enlarging and loss of seat revenue...Give Montreal full credit they played like a team that deserves first place, kept beating the Leafs to the puck, they are the more hungry team...Toronto get rid of Dion Phaneuf he appears to be lumbering out there...I don't like butterfly style goalies....old school, stand up type, like Martin Brodeur, they can move laterally a lot quicker.
