    Just so everyone knows, I am extremely proud of the Habs accomplishments, thus far, but I am a realist and I do know they are playing well above what they should be!

    As are the Leafs!!

    There is no way that the Leafs should be where they are, and I am the first to say the same for the Habs! In the off season the Habs did add toughness in the 3 new players added and the subtraction of Gomez, and in the Leafs case, they subtracted Schenn and added Van Remsdyk(sorry for spelling), and lost Lupol to injury! And the funniest thing is both teams have been winning with the back up goalies!

    It goes to show you how weak the East division really is!!

    Yep, the real season starts after the 48 games of posturing for position is completed...The playoffs remind me more of real hockey where just about every game counts....I do tend to watch the games in playoff mode....just make the playoffs and anything can happen...but don't ever finish first in the entire league, LOL...
    As an addendum, being a Leaf fan, I have to select another team to cheer for, for the past decade...

    Let me remind you Romeo, last year you had a GM that said "what is the point of us trying to just get 8th place and in the playoffs?" What happened is LA Kings, were 8th place and won the cup!! As long as the Leaf management has that mentallity, they will be hard pressed making the playoffs, EASY division or not!!! So the only way you make the cup is getting in the playoffs! Right now, after 16 games lest anyone think that Habs or the Leafs are a lock for the playoffs!
    Romeo, you have had almost 9 years to dream of the playoffs and now you are already signed up for a parade???
