it's finally friday & i get the weekend off & it's suppose to be awesome, now this is a first.

saw mum last night & she seemed in good spirits considering that she hadn't eaten since 6:30pm wednesday night. because she is suppose to have a colonoscopy, they wouldn't let her eat or drink anything. she was really lucky just to get a few ice chips every once in a blue moon. i mean seriously, i understand not allowing her to eat or drink if you're doing the test the same day, but by the time they actually get the test down, it will be over 30 hours since she last ate or drank. it's a good thing they have IV fluids to keep her hydrated. keeping my fingers crossed that it's still nothing serious. i'm waiting to hear from my sister or my dad to see how mum faired thru the night. they still had her in emerg when i was there, waiting to get a room. i hope she did get some sleep. she doesn't sleep well in noisy places.

What a miserable ordeal. Let's hope for a swift successful resolution and for her to get home to comfort and real food soon. Not to mention a proper bed and some peace. Thoughts and prayers to all.

Good Morning. Lost at curling last night then had to get to a big diner with the CEO from China. We did not start eating till almost 9:30 and then it was at least a ten course meal. Once again it was different but most was good not your standard Marderian fare.
