I use a 3-ring binder sorted alphabetically, not categories. I then put it in a reusable bag with all my flyers and extra inserts if I just got them and haven't cut them yet. I cut every coupon and either put it in my binder or the garbage. It is a bit heavy, but I'm building muscles

Some very useful ideas here. Love them. I have a large 3-ring binder that's too big and heavy to carry around and I have a smaller folder that I carry in my purse but am not happy with the folder. I really need to do something and now have some ideas thanks to the posts here. This is the week when I will find something that works better. I have to be organized because my memory is terrible and my timing is even worse. I often stumble upon some great finds only to realize the corresponding coupons are at home in the big binder. Thanks everyone and a special thank you to niro_anan for starting this thread.

Started with envelopes, quickly outgrew those. Moved to accordian style receipt holder and HATED that I could not see what was inside easy. Moved to 3 ring zip binder that usually stays in the car (I used photo sheets that I cut down to fit and those baseball card inserts from the dollar store) I take out only the coupons I plan on using that trip and pop them in a small pouch. I am considering moving the small pouch to a small photo album so I can "SEE" things easier when shopping. Might split the binder into 2, one for personal stash coupons and one for trade. (Not that I have enough coupons for that but down the road)
Looking for FPC for almost everything. Growing teen boy eating me out of house and home. Visit my facebook page www.facebook.com/UneekCreations
Will trade finished product from my Etsy shop.

Oooh I like this thread
I'm very proud of my Coupon & Trade Binders
I used to have one of those Glow Girl organizers, and I loved it.. but the more coupons I acquired, I would get more and more annoyed at not being able to easily look through them in a store. Sooo.. I needed something bigger and easier to see.
I got the coupon binder as a birthday present, ordered from zazzle.ca and customized. The inside of the binder has pockets to hold random stuff.. I keep some of the thick pockets (shown in the last picture) in the front for my Price Matching flyers. Inside the pocket, I put a little piece of paper with the items I'm interested in for that particular store, as well as the coupons I want to use on those items. Sorry, I already did my shopping for the week.. so all you get to see is the pocket with a flyer in it
Anyways, then I have a zippered binder that I use for trades. The inside left has a little filing accordian where I keep extra coupon pages of different pocket sizes, envelopes, stamps, etc for trading on the fly lol Other than that, it's just a regular binder with dividers and coupon pages.. organized by expiry date.

I also use a small photo album (among other things) -- but yours looks like each page is divided into two pockets -- is that right? I like that -- but what do you do with the bigger coupons, like the ones from gocoupons? Mine has 1 slot per page and you load it from the top.

So I was thinking since most people do use binders , folders etc. to see the coupons . You must be using some sort of pocket pages right? I havent checked my dollarama just YET for those but I had an idea and found a perfect DIY for those pocket pages protectors...if they arent on clearance a pack of 5 is 3.99 and 25 regular sheet protectors are 3.99 ........which would you choose .. well heres the link . I found it to be very helpful and will be doing this as soon as i get them.

there is another site that was REALLY good and almost was exactly like the ones you find at the store .. i will try to find a link for that

This is my binder. It's essentially an old, old photo album that I pulled out of recycling. So it was free. And then I had patterned ducktape in black/white and taped it to cover the originally ugly, faded cover design, and also tape some pockets to inside covers. Never got around to properly doing dividers as you can see -- one of these days will do it.
