Well my cell phone died today with only having a white screen, so l had no choice but to purchase a new one. l live in the smallest city in SK and if l want to purchase a phone l have to drive 1 1/2 hours one way to purchase one. So l decided l would just order it from Rogers and since l have only had this phone for 2 years they wanted to charge me $229.00 for it. Well l ordered it and then remembered that l was a smartcanuck so l phoned back and asked what it would cost to pay out my contract with them and go to Sasktel. Well, they were able to lower my new phone to under $100.00. This was quite a great savings, which if l hadn't phoned back they never would of given me the discount, so l am very happy . Now hoping there are no storms and the transcanada highway isn't closed down so that l can get my phone in a weeks time.

Great deal!! Gotta love a savings on a mobile phone, seems like they are few and far between.

Good job! Once you open that Smartcanuck door, there is no turning back. Good girl. The type of phone, you can just call back and find out and see if is what you want. And I know the ROGERS reps aren't always easy to understand. DH always calls for our needs and for about an hour after and before the call I hear about it. Good job and you di it all by yourself and we are proud of you. WTG and thanks for sharing and enjoy your new phone. No more white screen.

Well in a weeks time when l get my phone l will know. l only use it for minimal calls and some texting so as long as l can do that l'm okay. It will be a mystery

Anytime I call customer service I always press the French language button. That way the bilingual rep is usually fluent in english and french which helps immensely.

My phone broke a month ago Im also with rogers. I really wanted the iphone and my contract had been up for a year so I was
hopeing to get it for free or switch to bell. Well when I called they said I still had a contract until dec.13 I forgot dh got a new phone on my contract because he cant seem to keep one for more then a year lol. Well I said I wanted the ihpone and would switch to bell because they would give me a better deal. They matched bells deal( free phone on 3 year contract and no activation fee) and $60 plan and I got the phone for free even though I still had a contract. Sometimes you gotta argue a little lol. Good for you for getting the price down Dh also gets the mystery phones when he breaks his.
