Cool! I live in Penetang (as you know). Who's the letter for? It's a small town...and I may know them.

Not sure, it's still in their luggage, will find out tomorrow or Saturday when I next see my dad! I was wondering if maybe my inlaws know them, lol. (Haha you don't know my inlaws do you? They live 20 mins outside Penetang though, but my FIL works in flooring at Home Depot in Midland & MIL works at Waypoint. Ralph & Anne-Marie Styler?)

Green Tea ice cream?? I dunno about that one....

green tea ice cream is SO GOOD!!! It is super popular among the asians, that's me!!

So just got a phone call from my Dad & sister, they just got back from 3 weeks in Eucador (in the Galapagos & 1 week in Amazon).

Anyways she told me the greatest thing, I told hubby & he was underwhelmed (boo on him) so I going to tell you all because I am still super stoaked about it lol! (Seriously!)

They went on a 1 week boat trip to & around various islands in the Galapagos. One small semi deserted sandy island had an 18th century barrel on it that was used in the time of pirates/back in the day as a mail box of sorts. When a ship came by they would leave mail in the barrel & then the next ship would pick up some or all of the mail if it was for somewhere they were heading! Well the barrel is still there & people still use it! You can put in mail & remove some if its going to where you are going! BUT it must be hand delivered! Totally zAwesome Part 1) my Dad & sister put in a postcard for ME! Totally Awesome Part 2) they took a letter for someone in Penetanguishene because I go there frequently to visit my inlaws! Awesomesauce I get to deliver it next weekend! Apparently the box has a pretty high turn over rate because it wasnt very full & the Pentang letter is dated February of this year!

I love Michaels but I have waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much stuff from there. especially the $1.50 bins. I have too many things from there so buddy don't get me anything more. I have more than I can use! I listed some specific craft supplies on my list though so those are ok. Just little cards and things I just have too much!!!

I have to have so much self control when I go to Michaels.

There is an AMAZING gelato place in Vancouver "La Casa Gelato" that has hundreds of flavours (218 at a time) and you can try as many as you want before you choose. If you are feeling brave they always have some interesting flavours (Blue Cheese, Curry, Garlic Vinegar, Wasabi, Maple Bacon, Pickle ) but I prefer the more "normal" ones like pumpkin pie, nutella or hedgehog!
