Where I work, we round up if the change is 3 or 4 cents, and down if change is 1 or 2 cents....debit and credit stays the same. We just had price increases, and you would think they would just have even numbers, seeing as we are supposed to be penny-free, but nope.... a 24 of beer (average) is $42.98.......alot of prices ending in $.99........silly government.....

Government says:

.03, .04, .05, .06, .07 = .05
.08, .09, .10, .11, .12 = .10

SO...
$6.17 = $6.15 ~ Should get a nickel back

I am completely pis*ed right now, before I left for work I went to hit send for my WL and the dreadful smart canucks message appeared.....your message is too short.....poof my WL disappeared WTF, sorry nat will try to do it again while at work today

My oldest used to name them! Rabbit, turtle, snake and caterpillar!

We have someone around here that names them as they are coming out... IE- a turtle pops out of his shell and then back in...

Gah! Smartie pants me thought oh of course this wish list is all about me...should be easy...not so much! I have a couple things that I need to fit into cagtegories and a bunch more to add! i do my best thinking at work - when I'm working of course

All this talk of pennies....I am hoping you lovlies can help me...DH is turning 40 next year, and as part of his surprise 40 gifts in 40 days (yep lol I'm THAT girl!) I wanted to make something with 40 pennies from the year he was born (1974) Currently I have 36! Would any of you mind taking a peek in your change to see if you have one or two you could send my way? I will be very generous to those who can help!

Off to bed - dreaming of wish list ideas and thoughts of how to spoil my buddy!

There is an AMAZING gelato place in Vancouver "La Casa Gelato" that has hundreds of flavours (218 at a time) and you can try as many as you want before you choose. If you are feeling brave they always have some interesting flavours (Blue Cheese, Curry, Garlic Vinegar, Wasabi, Maple Bacon, Pickle ) but I prefer the more "normal" ones like pumpkin pie, nutella or hedgehog!

I love this place!!

I haven't shopped at michaels for a long time so I don't know what I'd need. If you find stuff there on my WL, then yes please!

Me too! *Asian* :D Green tea ice cream is good my fav is red bean ice cream. If you eat at sushi places or Chinese buffets, green tea ice cream is always available.

Mother's day each year I make up 20 Mom's pkgs and give them to the foodbank in our town. I figure mom's rarely get gifts and if you are struggling you really do not get gifts..in the hayday of stacking I gave really awesome packages,I am having to get a little more creative now.. If anyone has any ideas or hears of great deals I could include in my pkgs I would love the heads up!

Hopefully I will get to send out my wishlist later today as long as I don't get too busy at work........ It's sooooooo nice being your own boss..... it will be 7 years in June that I have owned my business and I'll be turning 27 this Monday! Time has been flying by!
