what about choosing the primary colors and using those as your these.. red/blue/green
or you could go with a popular toy.. lego. square cake with cut off cupcake bottoms on the top for the nobs. same colors too.
or make a truck theme. check out pinterest for ideas.. .. on second thought don't do that. you might not make it back here.. LOL
I love that idea for the lego cake! I would have never thought of that, lol. Thanks!

Super cute!!! His room is monkey-themed and I want to dress him up as a monkey for halloween so won't have a monkey bday party, heheheh.

Boys and diggers...lol. DS already has some even though he can't use them yet lol.

I have a question about skin.
Since 2008 I have lost a substantial amount of weight. I had went from 300lbs down to 190, got pregnant with DS and went back up to 260. I am currently sitting right below 200 and I am REALLY not happy with my skin. It is saggy and wrinkly, and I just have no idea what to do. I have been hitting the gym trying to tighten and tone everything, but nothing is helping. The tummy skin I could definantly deal with but I have about 2 inches of skin hanging from my arms and my thighs are droopy.

    Advice?! Please!!
I don't have advice, but I am inspired by your weight loss! That's awesome! I'm working on dropping all my excess weight and I am worried that I may have the same kind of issue with skin. The tummy skin can be an issue after kids even if you havn't lost a bunch of weight... I have a friend who is super skinny and always has been, but has a lot of saggy skin on her tummy from kids. Its tough.

    Clean Eating Nutella
    (Makes approximately 28 ounces)
    Ingredients:

    1-1/2 cups hazelnuts
    6 ounces Baker’s Unsweetened Chocolate (6 squares)
    3/4 cup honey
    4 tablespoons safflower oil
1/2 cup almond milk (or milk of choice I used light silk)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (I used organic Vanilla from Costco )
    Directions:

Place the hazelnuts on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees F. for about 15 minutes. The flesh should be a nice golden brown and the skins should be closer to black in color.
Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
Put the hazelnuts on a dish towel and rub until the skins come off. You may need to help some of them along with your hands, but most of the skins should come off with the towel.
Put the hazelnuts in a food processor and blend until you have a nut butter consistency. It may not be perfectly smooth, but you’ll know it when you see it. It takes a few minutes in the processor, so just keep blending.
While the hazelnuts are in the processor, put the chocolate squares in a bowl and microwave for about 3 minutes. Stir, and then continue to microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring after each one, until the chocolate is melted.
Stop the processor and add the chocolate, then the honey and oil. Mix as much as you can. The mixture will be very thick, so it may put a little bit of strain on your mixer. At that point, start adding your milk slowly, a little at a time.
Lastly, add the vanilla extract and blend for a few moments more just to combine everything really well.
Transfer the nutella to a jar and store in the fridge. It will get thick like peanut butter does when it’s cold.
NOTE: After having this for a few days, I can give a little feedback on how it keeps. Once it’s been in the fridge, it gets pretty thick. Kind of like peanut butter that has had the oil poured off. But it still spreads pretty well.
Also, once it’s been in the fridge, be sure you keep it there. Don’t leave it out again for a while before putting it back in the fridge. It gets a bit “grainy”.

That's why I love call display. And then I don't answer calls from people I don't want to talk to, like telemarketers, etc.

Moms/Aunts/Grandmas/Friends of Moms with boys....did you have (or have you seen) themes for a one year old boys birthday party? What was it? Some family members are saying I shouldn't bother with a theme cause he won't remember it/care (party poopers!!!) but I want to do something fun! I can't decide on a theme though and I want to start looking for stuff asap so ideas are welcomed as well.
    We did a monkey theme!

and I gave gummy candies, jungle animal stickers and monkey cookies for party goody bags.

We also played pin the tail on the monkey. It was fun!

You could do a zoo or jungle theme and then it wouldn't be all monkey=)

For my oldest for his first birthday I had found a decoration pack at the dollar store (balls, decorations, goodybag stuff) with "Fun to be One" written on it. He actually still has the giant blow up ball from it! For his second birthday we did "Thomas" for his third we did "CARS" for his fourth we did "Hot Wheels" and for his fifth it was Monster Trucks. I have a feeling this year it will be "Angry Birds".

For my second we did "Sesame Street" for his first, "CARS" for his second and Monkey cupcakes for his 3rd (he just had a little party at daycare since it was right after I had baby 3 and I just did not have the energy to do a lot), I think next one will be "Diego".

    Schmeelady,

no advice but I hear you. I lost 150 lbs in about 13 months and my arms, thighs, and tummy paid the price. I did weight training from the beginning which helped but its still there and drives me crazy. I am going to bite the bullet and have plastic surgery.

Honest to God, the only tees DH wears are ones with Winnipeg Jets or the Bombers emblazoned on them, LOL. I had to convince him to wear a golf shirt to Church for Easter instead of that same tee shirt! LOL

I do custom cupcakes as a side job and decorate for a ton of parties and a circus theme is always one of my favorite.

How did you lose the weight that quickly? I would really love to know because I need to lose about 120-140 pounds..... I was put on antidepressants for about a year and a half and gained 100 pounds in 6 months from it and never have been able to lose it! It got worse after I had my daughter because I lost the baby weight right away and then it all went back on and I'm back up to my full pregnancy weight...... now I just found out last week that I have an under active thyroid so now I'm on pills for that so hopefully that will help but would love to know your secret...... If you're willing to share!
