I think it's awesome that my son loves my "squishy belly" lol, and that he wants to have a big bosom like me when he's a big boy (didn't have the heart to explain that being a boy he hopefully won't lol).

guess you guys are going to have to bare with my not so much there in thought brain for a bit. hubby is now on midnights. and im not adjusting very well. sleep is sporatic. and my head is lost in the clouds of what to do. im so used to having the day to do whatever, laundry, cleaning etc. now i feel i have to be quiet. the phone rings im grabbing it.. and considering the new shift came when he had some projects on the go. the house is sorta upside down. im trying to figure out how to work around this schedule. he literally is going to bed when im getting up and visa versa. the boys haven't seen him for more then 30 minutes in 3 days. for my kids that like turning them upside down and telling them to walk. huh what? even with warning they are lost. he's their 'bud'. im not sure how weekends are going to go. he's home in bed at 7 on saturday for the day. wondering if he'll just stay up and have a short nap. i hope we adjust fast. anyway back to the train.

I hear ya...DH is on days this week but he changes to nights every 2 weeks, rinse and repeat. He goes to sleep when I get up and DS is getting louder and louder during the day so that hasn't been fun for him. He likes to sleep a lot too...I find it a little frustrating on the weekend also cause he usually sleeps 'til 1ish and I never get to sleep in - ever!! Lol. But we are pretty used to the shifts now...it takes time but everything will work out, you'll just have to priortize the time you are able to spend together/time when he's awake.

Ahh the life of shift work.... I work nights and days (12 hours) and feel for you, unfortunately I am the one trying to sleep. It took me a long time to learn how to sleep during the day. My schedule flips night to day aor day to night every set of shifts though.

My daughter just told me "No, I don't want any of your food, it's bad enough I have some of your DNA".... bahahahahahha - life as a teenager sucks doesn't it.

then in the banter below it, she tells the world I have a cold sore.... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Unfortunately dd #2 thinks the world revolves around her right now.
