Honestly, no secrets. I just did a complete 360 on what I put into my body!
Since January 1st I've lost 27lbs, but I have been sticking to a 1300 calorie diet.
Every morning I drink a crazy cocktail that I thought up, while it doesn't taste the GREATEST it has obviously helped me out. lol. It has also helped me cut down my caffeine intake by about 50% because I have WAY more energy in the mornings from it.

(all raw veggies)
1 cup Spinach
1 cup Kale
1/2 Banana
1/2 Apple (with skin)
1/2 cup Raspberries
1/2 cup Blackberries
1 scoop Protein Powder
1 tbsp Almond Butter
1 tbsp Cinnamon
1 tbsp Hemp Seeds
1 tbsp Wheat Germ
1 tbsp Ground Flax
1 1/2 cup strong brewed green tea (I fill a pitcher with boiling water and add 6 tea bags, let it sit on counter overnight and then keep it in fridge)

Humm... What else.
I use avacado or hummus as 'butter & mayo' on my sandwiches and toast. Replaced sour cream with plain greek yogurt. I do everything in my power to NOT eat chocolate, lol. Sometimes easier said than done though. I also don't drink juice or pop, but do drink the occasional glass of crystal light.

I am a huge juicer I love Kale, I use a lot of mean green recipes. I also clean eater too I love it My mom came to stay with us for 2 months and changed her way of eating and went from a size 22 to 18. I eat a lot more food than I use to but I eat nothing that contains chemicals

I will share a personal story with you about self image. 2 1/2 years ago i had to have a surgical operation because of my cancer that resulted in a divise being placed on my stomach (it is visable in tight clothing and embarrising). A year later i had not put on a swim suit we were in Disneyland at the pool and I was sitting on the side of the pool. My dd looked at me and said Mom please come in, to which i replied Hunny i can't people will see the outline in my swimsuit. DD got out of the pool walked up to me and said. Mom you can sit on the sidelines worring about what a bunch of strangers think, or you can get in the pool with the people who love you and dont give a crap what you look like on the outside. (DD was 12) I got in the pool lol. Let the people who love you tell you how you look, they are much more honest.

I would imagine that would be super hard, I know of some people who do shift work. Most of them said it was easy before having kids but now with kids it gets alot harder.

As it is I know once I have kids I will have to try to scale back at work and have no idea how I am going to pull that.

guess you guys are going to have to bare with my not so much there in thought brain for a bit. hubby is now on midnights. and im not adjusting very well. sleep is sporatic. and my head is lost in the clouds of what to do. im so used to having the day to do whatever, laundry, cleaning etc. now i feel i have to be quiet. the phone rings im grabbing it.. and considering the new shift came when he had some projects on the go. the house is sorta upside down. im trying to figure out how to work around this schedule. he literally is going to bed when im getting up and visa versa. the boys haven't seen him for more then 30 minutes in 3 days. for my kids that like turning them upside down and telling them to walk. huh what? even with warning they are lost. he's their 'bud'. im not sure how weekends are going to go. he's home in bed at 7 on saturday for the day. wondering if he'll just stay up and have a short nap. i hope we adjust fast. anyway back to the train.

I am hoping I will be able to work part time when Jackson starts school. I'd like to be able to get him on and off the bus daily, but I also want to take the summers off with him. I know I can afford one of those options, not sure about both. So I am on strict budget both to see if I can do it, to get my debts paid off, and to save up some extra money to have for those years. I am keeping him out of school (in daycare) for an extra year because the school is only part days and I can't get him in a subsidized spot there this year, so it's cheaper for me to leave him in full day daycare. Crazy but true. 2014 it will be full days, and he's a December baby so I think starting at not even 4 is a little early any way. I wish I had been able to stay home with him but am very grateful to have had a whole year of mat leave, I cannot imagine getting only 6 weeks like they do in the US. That's nuts!
