Well I am all caught up for now!! LOL
Had a good mail day got 3 envies for trains I am hosting
Went to my ex's to help him with some computer stuff and grabbed the inserts from his papers
We are still great friends which I know is rare, and it has only been just over 6 months since we split. We both want eachother to be happy, and we are. It is so weird but we are both back with our first loves. Neither of us had seen them in 24 years and once we decided to split we both had random fb contact and are back together. I moved a little quicker than he did--long story-not ready to get into it right now. Maybe another time--some of you know what I mean.
Anyhow my man is gonna be home in 15 and I need to put the spaghetti on for supper.
Will be checking in later

If I found $20 - I'd be super excited. I would like to buy something for the garden. In reality it would probably go towards groceries!

If I found $20 I would definitely get a babysitter. A husband sitter too.
I swear the kids have more patience then him...

Sooo...buddy....here's the post where I'll be answering all of my questions!
1.) Do ya'll get Mother's Day presents(other than the ones your kids make at school?) ? Flowers?
This is my first Mother's Day so we'll see what happens. We have a bit of a deal though that Valentine's Day is not a necessary holiday (he actually HATES it and I kinda feel like it's a bit of a gong show myself). Mother's Day/Father's Day however, are "to be observed"...I don't understand why someone wouldn't want to do that for their mom/kids' mom to be honest.
2.) Buddy do you any favourite Easter chocolates that I could pick up for you on the post Easter sales?
Anything but cream eggs...caramel eggs are fab.
3.) Buddy do you want anything from Michaels?
Hmmm...Yes! I have some serious Michael's needs due to the whole wedding thing! Here's my list:
- disposable icing bags (the bigger size, not the smaller ones)
- table seating cards (they're the traditional folding style, but they're made of chalkboard paper with a thin white border on it)
- a roll of wide white satin ribbon (to help decorate Alexa's wagon with the flowers I have for it!
)
- sock yarn (two rolls of the same dye lot please!)...this isn't wedding related, more of a "me likey"
- knitting stitch markers
4.) What size are your feet?
9 - 10
5.) What is your favorite color?
Typically blue, but I've really been enjoying teals and turquoises as of late
6.) Are there any books you want? Any specific titles/authors/genre?
Gone Girl in paperback
Let's Pretend This Never Happened, in paperback please if it's out
7.) Do you have an E-Reader?
I have an iPad that I use the Kindle app on. I enjoy Kindle books, and I also enjoy dinosaur books although with Alexa's 7pm bedtime, Kindle books are the way to go these days since I can't use a light beside the bed (Alexa sleeps in our room).
8.) What are your family's names and birthdays?
Pam - March 31
Don - May 23
Alexa - October 17
9.) How do you feel about knit dish cloths? Homemade socks?
Love and unsure
10.) Is there anything from The Body Shop you would like?
I love all of the Body Shop tea tree oil facial products and mango or satsuma body scrub/butter...peppermint foot scrub, almond or hemp hand/nail care products, sea weed facial line...oh, the list goes on.
11.) How tall are you?
5'9" (I should note, I have a super long torso, average legs...so tshirts etc are almost always short on me!)
12.) If you found $20 and had to spend it on yourself, what would you buy?
Saturday's Response: Today? A friggin' manicure. Poor mommy needs a baby break!
Sunday's Response: An Underarmour tshirt for working out from the Clearance rack at Sport Chek (Size medium). I'm pretty much "off" lululemon because I've found their quality is the pits now. I also found out, when I was commenting on how similar a lot of the UA styles are, that one of the main designers for Lulu now works for UA...makes sense....soooo many similarities and the quality is a lot higher these days (for comparable prices).
Tuesday's answer: A few pairs of good exercise socks
13.) If you found $5 and had to spend it on yourself, what would you buy?
A low fat caramel machhiato...or hazelnut macchiato (I have NO idea how to spell macccchiiatto so I"m just going to spell it differently every time and cover all of my bases!
).
14.) Did you forget to put anything on your wishlist?
Of course...I've already started my list at the bottom of this post
15.) Buddy, do you have long hair or short hair?
Long, super thick, dark brown
16.) Buddy, what kind of cell phone do you have?
Samsung Galaxy SIII
17.) Do you drink tea? Full leaf or bagged? Are you open to new flavors, or do you have a favorite?
I drink primarily decaf english breakfast or earl grey. I'm kinda open to new types but loose tea seems like a lot of work for me these days.
18.) Do you need any items from SDM (Bonus Points Event)?
Yah, of course. I can always spend $ at SDM. Pretty much most things from my wishlist (especially the Goody hair spinners)
19.) Stuff from the States?
Not really anything specific. I'm not a huge cross border shopper.
19.5.) Would you like any movies?
We're in the process of changing over to blueray for all of our movies. I have a small/major girl crush on Sandra Bullock, so any of her movies would be great (if you can get them in the cheapo section of Walmart etc).
20.) Would you like anything from IKEA?
I think I'm good
We're getting a lot of stuff from there for our wedding so I'm frequenting the store!
21.) Do you need some samples of feminine hygeine products and a case
No thanks....stockpiled right up!
22.) What do you take in your coffee?
Three milk (or three milk and one sugar if the coffee's crappy)
23.) What's your favourite store?
Homesense, Shopper's, The Children's Place
24.) Can you cook?
Yes, when I want to...
I'd love some slowcooker recipes with whole ingredients or 'normal' stuff that you keep around the house (already have the Company's Coming 5 Ingredient book). But my goal is to use the slowcooker once a week, and I'm always looking for new ideas. I'm fine with buying ingredients, but I don't really love using prepared sauces and marinades in it (ketchup or normal standard condiments like that are fine)
25.) Do you wear perfume?
Mark Jacobs Daisy
26.) Do you like to play card or board games?
Yes, love them. Don't have a lot of time for them though
We used to play A LOT of Scrabble though, and we do a lot o crosswords on my phone/iPad.
27.) Favourite TV show?
SCANDAL! The Good Wife, The Voice
28.) Do you collect anything?
Starbucks Mugs from cities I've been to
29.) Does your child have a favourite cartoon character?
No, she's 6 months old. But Max & Ruby are out (Daddy says she's a Bossy B). Dora & Diego also annoy the F out of me. Gonna try Caillou but there really are no favourites here
30.) Would you accept used, but in good condition, toys for you child?
Sure, no problem so long as they're clean
31.) What are the shirt sizes for you and your family?
Me - Medium usually
Don - Usually a Large
Alexa - Giant baby...She's currently in 6-9 months from the Chlidren's Place, 6-12 months from the Gap and 6 months from Carter's...I'm buying a little bigger for her though cause she's so long and has plenty of clothes for her current size
32.) Do you scrapbook? Would you start if you receive an album and some embellishments?
I HAVE scrapbooked and would like to again in the future...just not a lot of 'hands free' time. I'd love some embellishments for travel (Alexa having been a 'Jet Setter' these past few months, and we're going to Denmark and Germany in the summer), or if you can find some embellishments with a movie theater film reel etc, that'd be awesome. I will be scrapbooking her baby book and want to do the first page as "Coming Soon..." with her ultrasound picture
Good luck! lol, I haven't been able to find this in my travels!
33.) Can I get you a small mickey bottle from LCBO, if so what would you like?
I'm a Vodka or white rum girl.
Do you drink red or white wine?
Prefer red but I really shouldn't have any due to my mould allergy so I'm going to have to say 'no wine thanks'
34.) Are there any samples that you would like (as extras)?
Cottonelle wipes, Eucerin, Kleenex wipes,
35.) Do you like Aveeno or Burt's Bees products?
Yes - Aveeno body wash, or the itch relief body lotion. Haven't tried any Burt's Bees products.
36.) Do you like Lindt and do you have a favourite?
Love! This was on my WL
Love the milk chocolate or hazelnut. Did I hear something about peanut butter?
37.) If I were to buy you a top, what type of tops do you like?
Vneck or scoop neck tshirts. I have a long torso so long or 'tall' ones are awesome! Solid colours please
38.) Do you have a Cineplex near you? Any chance you'd like to go to the movies?
Yes, and not likely to happen any time soon with Alexa in tow
39.) Buddy do you have a favorite magazine and if yes would you mind used?
No real fave for magazines. I have some, but I get A LOT of magazine subscriptions so I'm pretty OK on this front
40.) Do you like Green products?
Sure, if they're actually green. Otherwise, it's a waste of money. (A lot of them are just touted to be 'green' but it's because there aren't standards on how cleaning products etc are labeled so companies charge more for something that isn't any different than the stuff on the shelf next to it).
41.) Do you prefer baths or showers?
Showers but I always enjoy a good ol' bath.
42.) What colors do you like for ...make-up, lipstick, nail polish?
Eyeshadow - meh, usually neutrals or greys/pinks for smokey eyes.
Lipstick - don't wear it so no thanks!
Nail polish - Love Essie 'Sugar Daddy' or could use a nice dark grey or light grey
43.) If you were to get a spa package (big or small), what would you like included in it?
Mani/pedi, massage and facial
44.) Do you need a new coupon binder?
Boo, no, I just ordered one from GlowGirl last week...I"m excited to get it!
45.) Dollar store?
Small snack sized ziplock bags for VWT's, paper clips, binder clips, small self sealing security envies, bigger (not the huge full sized ones) kraft envies for bigger trains
46.) couponing supplies?
Yes please! Same as my dollar store list, stamps ("P", 0.08 or $1.10), letter opener
47.) Body spray
No thank you
48.) Pet treats
No pets here thanks
49.) Can you stack?
Nope, but if you can, and can stack Revlon coupons to get cheap cuticle trimmers, I'd love some! I need to get 3 for my girls for my wedding gift bag lol
50.) Fave restaurant?
We frequent the Milestones/Kelsey's companies so like their 'Bon Appetit' card or whatever it is would be awesome!
51.) "Family" photo frame
Good on this thanks!
52.) Girl Guide Cookies
I like cookies
53.) Beanie Babies
No thanks
54.) Cheerios
Yes please!
55.) Honey stuff from Armygirl's local show?
Yep! We like honey
56.) PJ's
PJ pants and a tshirt (no polar fleece please)
57.)
,
Things I forgot to put on my wishlist:
- Vileda cleaning cloths (the yellow ones)
- Greenworks wipes
- Donut Shop K-Cups for DH
- Bottom feeding gardening containers (the ones with a water reservoir in the bottom so they don't dry out as quickly)
- Kleenex pocket packs
- Cottonelle wipes
- flip flops (cheap and cheerful - Old Navy, Joe Fresh etc), size 9 or 9.5 if available, in black, white, blues/teals, solid colour please
- grey, robin's egg blue and white tea towels (linen/cotton kind, not the fluffy kind, not from the dollar store please)
- Dove body wash and antiperspirant - I like the pink one with pomegranate and verbena
No body spray though thanks, it'd just be wasted on me!
- paddle brush (hair brush)...I am ALWAYS losing these. I have no idea how. I think my house just eats them (or I put them down in stupid spots and can't remember where...kinda like a dog with a bone)
- Picture frames from Target - looks like clipboards (comes in a set of 3) or they have different frames that have clips to hold the pictures (I'll see if I can find a photo of them lol)
