Just popping in to say a quick hello. We got hit really hard with the ice storm in Ontario and at the moment don't have hydro or phone
The earliest we are expecting hydro to return is Monday and phone Tues/Wed. I'll try to keep up with the thread when I can (I am at a Tim Hortons 30 min from home using their internet) but it may be a few days before I can really answer any questions and keep up.

I scored 58,000 points at SDM today, did 3 transactions of $75 @ 18,5000 points each for 55,500, and bought $250 in gc to pay for it (2500 base points). Best part is most of it wasn't even my money, it is all stuff for the Mothers Day Basket we are doing for the Pipe Band... I got one of the Kobo Mini eReaders to go in the basket - it's so cute. DD wanted some make up so I put it with my stuff and she gave me the $ for it.

My big score was 3 boxes of fruit jellies candy for $2 a box.... love those things. Buddy would you be interested in a box of them? Ther are Fat Freeeeeeeee.

looks like I be able to shop tomorrow for my buddy YAY they asked us all at work today if we wanted to take (saturday) off (without pay) they are really really slow and we would have too clean the whole one million square foot warehouse so out of the 8 people 7 said yes lol mind you next pay we will feel it because we only work 34.5 hours per week LOL last time there was a slow period it lasted the whole weekend for 3 weeks :D so we all decided that we will take Saturday off and be dust free :D
strange its been really slow lately we are hoping it picks up soon so we can do overtime 2 days during the week of I might have to look for a part time job I guess with an agency

We are on a slow down at work right now too, fortunately I am not affected but some people have had to change shifts and go to different jobs. Tire market is soft right now I guess.... but Michelin is really good for taking precautions so that they aren't faced with having to lay people off.

I am attempting to plan a trip to Saskatoon for the summer. I have come to the realization that I have no idea how to plan a road trip...We took them all the time as kids, but I just jumped in the car and off we went. My parents took care of all the planning. As an adult, I have never planned any trip bigger then over to Vancouver from the Island for the weekend.

Well it's been a very busy day by myself in "flower land" so as a reward I'm closing early this afternoon to go to my great nephew's 2nd birthday party! It's so nice being your own boss!

me again.. it appears i truly missed my husbands sense of humour. we sat in Tim's this morning for a good 45 minutes, i dont' think i stopped laughing the whole time. i was in tears. after our last stop we came home, showed our boys our hall, had a chit chat and then we laid down. that was supposed to be for 30 minutes. um 3 hours later i feel alot better. the laughter took alot out of me. anyway.

and jelly candies. sure. if i don't eat them i have two 'mickies' who will.

once i get another go over on my lists. ill figure out if i need to pick up anything else. then im going to pack the box this week. and make sure its ready to be mailed. im still so freakin excited about next Saturday. i know hubby has NO idea, he didn't even realize its this morning Wednesday. Kinda can't wait to see what he's going to do. he's now working nights. so there won't be any dinner, maybe he'll take me out for breakfast. hm

hijinx not sure if there on this week but the boxes of plain chicken breast are awesome when there on for apx 14.99 they last a while we put them in pasta, casseroles ect. Also if you want a more expensive treat there too tall Strawberry Shortcake mmmm yummy

me too, yes to finish samples and to any samples. I did want to post that I also did a sdm shop. I ended up getting about $100 for $45 plus 19910 sdm points.
