I need to let out some serious frustration on here, so if I upset or offend anyone I'm sorry I'm just so mad I need to type out my rage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am absolutely livid with my local Walmart today!!!!!!
Not only did they have none of the 100ml Crest on sale for $0.97, but they had no cashiers on the belt cashes (Only 3 cashiers on express!!!!!).
I asked the supervisor if there were any belt cashes going to open soon (I had a cart full of stuff and I was going to price match and coupon and I let her know of that situation) and she told me to just go through express (so I had to be THAT person today, how embarrassing.....).
Now if that wasn't bad enough, I somehow scored the slowest, whiniest cashier I have ever met. It's not the first time she's tried to give me trouble for my coupons and price matching (she literally asks the supervisor about EVERY.SINGLE.FREAKIN.COUPON.AND.PRICEMATCH).
First: She says I can't go through those cashes
I say her supervisor said I could because there are no other belt cashes open.
Second: I'm on a diet and trying to get healthy so when I wanted to price match the Cambell's soup on for $0.67 and she says I can't get the light version of them because "it's not the exact one in the picture"....!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I couldn't believe how stupid she was... So there's another 10 minutes waiting for the supervisor who OK'd it and tried to explain to her that that was fine in which she kept spitting out "but but but the picture" but her cries fell onto deaf ears.
Third: I freakin love yogurt. I love the iogo yogurt bottles. I had 11 coupons for them. The coupons specified $0.75 off for ANY iogo product. The coupon had a picture of the tub of iogo.............................................. ......................... guess who had to wait for yet ANOTHER supervisor to explain to her what the word "ANY" means since apparently I can't be trusted as a couponer.
Fourth: I had a lot of products that are the same. Cashiers have different ways of entering your price match product without having to scan every single freakin' item. But guess whop had to scan EVERY.SINGLE.FREAKIN.CAN.OF.FREAKIN.CAT.FOOD. AND it was price matched at $0.55. My goodness someone shoot me.
Fifth: Now, I know it's hard being cashier and I know I shouldn't be sh*****g on this one BUT I AM A CASHIER AT THAT STORE!!!!! I freakin work there! I know what we can and can't do, I know how to use my freakin coupons because I deal with them when I'm not at school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Her badge may have said she's been a cashier for 5 years but she works like a complete noob who apparently can't freakin read English.
I was so embarrassed for being stuck going through the express line with 131 items and a fist full of coupons and flyers.
I was so angry I was shaking because of her complete incompetence and inability to perform the simplest task. As a cashier, I try to make other cashier's jobs easier and I organize my flyers and coupons as such. But she was too maladroit to even appreciate or realize what I've done.
That was 1 hour of my life I'll never get back (if I were on the cash it would have taken max 15 minutes as I have a scanning rate of 1018 items per hour.......)

If Crest 100m. is in the flyer shouldn't they have it in stock? Were you able to get a rain check? I went to 2 WMs and none either, only 130 ml size.

I got a rain check but it's still super inconvenient. They said they MAY be in by tomorrow... Let's see how that goes lol

my WM didn't have stock this morning either - i got the story of "the truck didn't come in" apparently there won't be any over the weekend either - cuz the truck is expected to deliver on late tues/wed.

I totally understand your rant of frustration about this,I got a stupid cashier at Mondoux earlier this week(rant it too),so tired of the it as o be the same picture and plenty others invalide reason.Hope it will goes better next time
Its happen to the best of us lol

As from the Iogo coupon 1 got 3 at ,25$ small nomad 200 ml one...but with the go coupons not the tear pad because the tear pad said 2% matiere grasse and the Iogo 200 ml have 0,2%...how stupid is that... but the tear pad have only the picture of the tub on it.

Maybe, perhaps, she worked in stock, overnight or in a department for almost all of her time employed there, and was only very very recently recruited to become a cashier and still didn't know what she was doing?
If you really feel like she hasn't been trained worth crap, talk to a manager and let him know that she needs some extra help.

I was told that they were out of stock of the toothpatse AND toothbrushes at 9:30 this morning and was told they are not giving out rain checks and I should have come earlier.

just came from Walmart in ottawa aswell. No toothpaste to be found lady looked at me like i had 5 heads lol BUTTT I did find the oral B on sale for .97 They had 10 left so I only took 5 leaving the other 5 for someone else!

How awful!!
Does the store have a video camera in the front of the store to see what's happening at the checkouts? You would think the employer would use it to review staff performance, speed, customer service skills etc? They must know she is not good at her job as she keeps calling over supervisors and then not learning from what they tell her! Bah!!

Totally 1000% understand your frustration. I think it's because we the customer expect a certain level of quality from the cashier, but to be honest Walmart is the worst place to coupon. They make it so difficult.
