Funny. My mother's Christmas wishlist is always full of this type of item. Something she has been searching for but cannot find. Arghh! For a few years dh and I lived in a small somewhat isolated community in Northwestern Ontario, while my parents live in a city of about 160,000. If she couldn't find something there, how the heck was I supposed to find it where I lived?

I do love my Kobo. As it is smaller and lighter than a book, it is easier to hold onto. And I love the Kobo store. It makes it sooooo easy (okay, maybe too easy) to find new and interesting books I might like. But I don't expect for find lots of good non-fiction options with Kobo, so paper books will continue to be accumulated.
I have the e-ink type, so I can use it while sitting outside on the deck on a nice warm, sunny day, without having glare. (hummm, where are those nice warm, sunny days?)

Well I'm off for the day. Need to go and search for a new kitchen chair. DS has officially decided he wont sit in his high chair anymore. He wants a chair so now I need to find one that matches our little kitchen set (dont want to eat every meal in the dining room). I'm super proud of him, he's becomming so independant but also really sad. My baby is growing up way too fast!
