So much for being nice all week-end!! It's been pouring rain all night here.....
I hope you got your fishing trip in yesterday Wolfie - it was a beautiful day!!!
I had my first swim of the season yesterday - not intentional.... I fell in the lake - I was fully dressed (shorts and a tank top) and I was completely sober at the time!!! Our friends popped by to say hi to us and I saw something fall into the lake from their boat after my son lifted one of the cushions. I was holding on to a piece of their boat (which I found out was broken). The broken piece and I both went swimming... I was fine and it turns out that we think that the thing that fell into the lake the first time was just a rope....
I'm glad that the lake water is warming up and that I didn't lose my sunglasses... hubby was worried that I had my phone on me (but I didn't)... All is good...
I hope that this rain lets up a little so that we can spend a little time outside today!!
Happy Father's day to all the Dads and Granddads!!! Enjoy your day!!

Hey madchives the guy in the sandpipers video was surf fishing , Surf fishing is the sport of catching fish standing on the shoreline or wading in the surf. A general term, surf fishing may or may not include casting a lure or bait, and refers to all types of shore fishing - from sandy and rocky beaches, rock jetties, or even fishing piers. The terms surfcasting or beachcasting refer more specifically to surf fishing from the beach by casting into the surf at or near the shoreline. With few exceptions, surf fishing is done in saltwater.

I saw a fellow catch a nice size barracuda on the beach just beside the pier in Daytona,
so yes ocean fish do venture close to shore following bait fish.
Calvin's bike hates him for some strange reason.

Wolfie, enjoy ur fishing trip tomorrow & today @ ur Mom's.
Wouldn't you just know it. I've spent most of the last 2 days in bed & it seemed pretty nice out.
Today I thought I'd venture our for awhile, maybe watch the Fiesta Parade in Oshawa.
Oh well, I guess that wasn't meant to be.
Besides, I'm black & blue - wouldn't want to scare the little kiddies, @ least not till Halloween.
Have a good day every1

Good morning, everyone.

Ft York was fun yesterday. Unfortunately, my friend got a touch of sunstroke, so is still asleep.
Once the sleepyheads wake up, we'll be heading over to the Distillery for some yummy snacks:

Better go check on everyone. Maybe if I start making breakfast, they'll wake up.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.
