So, I KNOW that what people do with the products that they buy with coupons are THEIRS to do with whatever they want....but it STILL PISSES me off when I see people on Facebook selling Olay Soaps/Zantacs/Toothpastes etctec...things that I KNOW they got for nothing and they're selling it for a profit. Yeahyeahyeah I know I know...they can do what they want...its no different than trying to make money at a garage sale etc...but it just BUGS me! Congrats that they are making money off it, maybe they NEED the extra income, whatever....I never comment, I never complain, but I just wanted to get it off my chest that it BUGS me!! NO I DONT WANT TO BUY YOUR TASSIMO FOR $60...I KNOW you got it for $40! lololol!!

I saw a blogger who went and bought the Tassimo for $40 and then used it as a prize in a giveaway LOL
I heard alot about people selling their ''brand new tassimos'' on kijiji for more than they paid.

Seems like a lot of effort to make a very modest amount of money. My neighbour buys cows and sells them for a profit. Ha ha!

I can understand that some might be upset at the use of coupons as a money maker and then selling the items.. certainly an activity that will and has resulted in the loss of some awesome coupons.. mmmmm money makers.. the tassimo thing I don't get.. I think its a smart purchase for someone who has one.. to pay for the coffee and then give the machine as a gift or sell it and earn a little money.

Everyone who sells products buys low and sells high, food, houses, cars, insurance.. its necessary if they wish to make money.. I don't see why sellign the tassimo is any different. I would love to understand your point of view.. what makes it wrong to you

I sort of agree... I never complain, I just feel bad if people are duped into buying things at an inflated price..!

I'm just glad I know better, and would never give them my money!!

I think the problem (at least for me) is the abuse leads to a loss of good coupons. And that makes a big difference for someone like me on a very tight budget, who's also trying to help out 2 other households. The chocolate bar one is what got to me - don't folks worry about food tampering when it comes to buying food off kijiji and craigslist? Maybe I'm just paranoid? Oh, and in that promo I managed to snag 2 bars (had hoped to get 4, but at least the other households got a treat ).

oh lovey..there's a lady that hits up our shoppers every week and she actually sells everything she buys to support her grocery budget. I have been trying to find her for close to 2 years now, the minute I see her it will be verbal diarrhea of the mouth lol

i forget which coupon policy i read, but it states they will ban you from using coupons (or maybe the whole store), if you are caught buying large amount for resale

on craigslist i searched to see if anyone selling gillette razor cartridges (they expensive in store), and i came across some person who i swear is trying to sell the freebie razor from sample pack

the time it takes to find the coupons, watch for sales etc etc, i think it unlikely they are making a ton of money, because even if they get it for tax only , they would need to sell it pretty cheap to get anyone to buy it

personally i would rather spend the time trying to sell the stuff doing something fun. i'll just stick to saving myself a lot of money.

I agree too. There is one lady on my local facebook yardsale page that is always selling Zantac, Nexxus, Charmin seat covers, Hydrasense, Multibionta, etc. All things she got FOR FREE!!! I understand that this is her choice and what she does with them is her own busniess, but we only have 1 wal-mart in our city, so when I go to the store and all those things are sold out that is not fair!

I only want to buy enough to sustain my family and help bring my cost down, when she is doing it for profit!!!!
