Thread: Major Beauty Redemption + Free Mini-manicure at Shoppers!

    Popped over to Shoppers Drug Mart for this weekend's beauty event where you spend 80K points for $200 (so more for less!). After doing some research on makeupalley and looking up swatches on Google images, I headed over to Yorkdale Mall and picked up some luxuries:

    Benefit Cabana Glama Kit $22
    Stila In the Know Eyeshadow palette with eyeliner $50
    Stila Convertible Lip/Cheek cream in peony $33
    Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray $35
    Bioderma Cleansing water $30
    Quo Concealer quad $19
    Rimmel Concealer $7.99 (-$1 coupon)
    Essie Nail polish in Lilacism $7.99 (-$3 personalized coupon emailed by Shoppers)

    My total after redemption and coupons came to $27.63.

    Free "mini-manicure"
    There was a rep from Essie that set up a mini nail station in the makeup aisle. If you buy an Essie polish, you get a free mini-manicure on the spot (remove old polish, base coat, polish---either the one you bought or you can choose from the 10 or so she has, top coat). We got to chatting and she travels to different Shoppers stores and sets up her little station from 12-4pm. This is in Toronto but she mentioned Vancouver and other select cities across Canada are also running this event. Essie polish was on my shopping wishlist anyways so it ended up being a nice surprise!

    Here's to hoping! Though realistically I hit the snooze button way too often that I hardly have time to get ready in the morning before rushing out for the day.

    Love Essie! I forbade myself from buying anymore nail polishes but then Shoppers emailed me a $3 off coupon timed perfectly with the redemption so definitely could not resist.
