Hey just noticed a Big Congratulations is in order - KARL!!!! Way to go being caller 107 - not an easy task - wow, now your in for the trip to England to see The Wall - right up your alley isn't it??? Lucky you!!!
Went to Woodbine Park yesterday and today for some more free music! I love it as you always see some new stuff and some others that you've seen before like Paul James and Carlos del Junco yesterday. Bryan Lee & The Blues Power Band were excellent too yesterday. Today had a mixture of artists I've yet to see except for the last one which was Cuban type music. Beaches Jazz fest week continues - I love it!!!

Animal control officer Michelle Smith got a call about a yelping dog behind a Home Depot. She climbed down a steep embankment to finda Shih-Tzu, tangled in a mess of briars. But she looked more closely, she realized Goldie had a friend: a tiny kitten who was nursing at the dog’s side.

“I think it would have been okay for the dog to walk down the hill,” Smith told Fox Carolina. “But it just didn’t want to leave the kitten”

The dog and kitten were taken to the Anderson County P.A.W.S. shelter, where they remained inseparable and the dog continued to care for the kitten as one of her own. Eventually, the pair were taken to a foster home – together, of course.

A Michigan child found an odd toy in his Burger King kids' meal this week -- a pipe filled with marijuana.
Cops in Dundee, Mich., said the pipe and the pot belonged to a 23-year-old Burger King employee who brought it to work that day to smoke and hid it in the kids' meal box, which was mistakenly served to the little boy.
"So it ended up inside a four-year-old's kids' meal," Dundee Police Chief Dave Uhl told the Monroe News. "I couldn't believe it."
The boy, who was not harmed, was enjoying the fast food treat his grandfather bought him when he discovered the pipe. The grandfather called police.
The 23-year-old allegedly told cops he also owned hashish, which police found in two other employees' cars.
Police issued drug paraphernalia citations to the pipe owner and the other employees, two young men aged 18 and 20.
The Burger King trio may face more drug charges.
