I headed to Target today to pick up some Glad garbage bags. I wanted to buy ten boxes so I took my two DDs with me in order to abide by the four like coupon rule at Target. I figured I would pick up a couple of other things while I was there by stacking a Target coupon with a manufacturers coupon. The whole thing was a giant hassle with a supervisor having to be called for an override on EVERY coupon and neither the supervisor or the cashier were happy that I was using coupons. I doubt I will go back but still, I got some great deals.

    All together we got:

    10 Glad garbage bags 10x1.99 - 10x2.00 coupons. FREE
1 case of A&W root beer 2.99(not pictured)
    1 Luna bar 1.64
    1 Covergirl Lip Balm 4.99 - 2.00 Target coupon - 2.00 manufacturers coupon
    1 Iams dog food 5.99 - 3.00 Target coupon -2.00 manufacturers coupon
    1 Olay Body Wash 2.99
    1 Old Spice Body wash 4.29 - 2.00 Target coupon - 4.00 manufactur coupon
    1 Lactania Cream 2.29 - .75
    1 D'Italiano buns 2.29-.75

nice deals -but I doubt I will go back too - I had a hard time price matching and using regular coupons -had to override every one -plus had to go to the service desk to price match

Great deals, and sorry you did not have a good experience. Our Target is not open yet, but am planning a visit to Lindsay first of next month and was so looking forward to the stacking. This is very disappointing that a company who advertises this, does not do it willingly. I will still probably try it when I am there, but feel I will always stick to my Walmart and Shoppers both who give me no grieve over coupons.

    Thanks everyone.

You have to go to the Service Desk to price match here to but you also have to go there to use any coupons. It's a pain. Plus our Target is in a mall and you cannot take the carts out of the store and into the mall.

I had to buy 4, DD bought 4, and little DD bought 2. My kids are teens so they didn't question it but they stillhad to go through CS to use their coupons so I held up the line for a half hour and then both my DDs held up the line while they waited for overrides.

    I'm with you Jody!!
Although stacking is fun, it's a PAIN in the butt at Target (even just using one coupon).

I was there today using one coupon per item and it took about 40 minutes to cash out (14 items).
The cashier had to get the manager to override the coupons (after the first one), then the computer messed up, then the cashier forgot how many coupons per items, then the manager entered the wrong code, then then then.....

    No thanks!

Newmarket Ontario Target accepts many many coupons. I went earlier this summer with 28 Old Dutch coupons and yesterday with 16 Glad garbage bags...no problems at all!!
