My little guy is starting Kinder this year and I need to get him a pair of runners. I looked at SportChek, but the ones I wanted weren't in his size.

We prefer to buy high quality shoes like Stride Rite, Geox, Keen, etc...
Any ideas? This thread is currently associated with: Sport Chek

Just got The Shoe Company flyer and they have some good sales on Nike, Reebok, Adidas and Skechers.
They also have save an extra 25% off 2nd pair of all athletic and all kids shoes...and you get Airmile and if you shop through Airmiles shops, you get 15 times the airmiles and spend more than $50, you get a 100 Airmiles bonus. There is free shipping on orders over $70 or shipped directly to the store!!

I don't know -- I've actually been impressed with some of the runners from Walmart. Certain styles seem like they're of pretty nice quality, and this is from someone who isn't usually a Walmart shopper! When DS 1 was a toddler, a Walmart style was all we could buy to fit his wide, chunky feet (the shoes opened up well, giving lots of room to get his foot in!).

I have to go there today, so maybe I'll take a peek. I do worry about other kids having the same shoes if I buy from somewhere like that, kwim?

I'd be surprised if you can't find anything likeable & reasonable at Shoe Company(I suggest you check their outlet stores),

Foot Locker/Foot Locker Kids has shoes buy one get one 50% off on selected styles and I believe Sears has shoes on sale this week as well! Perhaps Winners or Marshalls too if there's one in your area!

I am also having trouble finding a good price for shoes. Each child requires a pair of indoor shoes and outdoor shoes, and with sale prices of $50 each that means I will be paying $200 just for shoes. That is crazy. I am still shopping...I think I will hit Payless shoes today because I was emailed printable coupon (and my youngest is not so picky when it comes to brands and styles), and then National Sports since they might have the brands that my oldest will like. I know winter boot shopping is around the corner too so I better start saving more money now!

I bought my daughter an awesome pair of black and pink pumas from the softmoc clearance. they had some great deals on lots of shoes. ordered online and had them delivered to the store so no shipping fees.
Feel free to use my shop.ca referral link! Tons of products and great deals! http://www.shop.ca?plcktb=ZwVwXmoC0

If you are close to the border 6pm.com has the best deals on kids shoes. I have got see Kai run, stride rite, umi and primiggini shoes all for under $20 each. However you have to be proactive and order them ahead of time in a larger size if you see them for the right price. I avoid this for seasonal shoes as you can never really guess what size they will be. Amazon.com also has great deals from time to time too it's just that each size is priced seperatley.

^ Don't have any deals for your, but i do agree with getting high quality. Shoes are very important...and not based on look. Kids have to try them on and see if they are comfortable.
Never buy online.....
