So juiced all day and had a dinner of tomato/basil/onion salad all from the garden and spaghettini with tomato sauce, my own canned ones of course

Hoping to see more than 2 lbs down this week.

Ok im a lurker!! You got me curious with the juicing! I WANT to feel great!! I don't think i can do the green just yet! What would you recommend? I want to try it but like walkonby im scared! Baby steps...

Ellen the juice is not that BAD lol.

It's very smooth going down, I made 4 x 1.5 litres yesterday. That will be good for about 3 days of breakfast and lunches for me and Kevin.

kale, celery, lettuce, cucumber and blueberries, the key is add a fruit so it's not bitter. I put 1 cup of water in the blender then blend each thing into it. I get a full blender of 4 cups after I squeeze it through my nylon nut bag. I am hoping to get my real juicer soon though it will be easier.

I also just went to Maxi this a.m. and got lots of beets and carrots for when I get my juicer. DH ordered it from Amazon yesterday.

Don't be afraid, just make sure you make the juice to your liking or you won't want to continue, you know I mean use the greens that you like better, as long as they are dark green leafy. I got used to the taste of kale, and I never ate kale in my life. Oh I am so happy you are willing to give it a go, it does have you feeling so much better, and the energy you end up with??
I mean just look at how fast I am typing this!!? lol

I intend to get that 10 lb bag of beets Friday from NF!! I have the Breveille juicer and it is the most awesome machine, yeah it was pricey I won't lie, but my stove has not been used hardly at all, (saving hydro) so it will balance out the longer I juice.

I can't remember the make of the juicer Larry ordered, but it's a masticating one, also makes nut butter, nut milk etc.

I will try!! I have my in law juicer for tomato canning purposes =) such good timing, she is gone to Germany for a couple weeks! I hope i like it, my goal is not the weight, its really the eating i don't do all day, the massive headache i get and the crap i eat once i'm finally starving at 4 pm!
