What a great brag and random act of kindness.
Two or three eggs broken.
Add a pinch of salt.
Mix the eggs.
Place the container in the freezer.
When frozen, transfer the eggs to Glad or Ziploc bags (even better if you got these free too
)
They take up less space when in Ziploc.
When using, thaw the Ziploc in the fridge, with a container underneath to catch an leakage.

Wow that is a lot of eggs. I don't think we would eat that many in years. A dozen eggs lasts us at least a month and a half.

Gotta know cheeky would have the answer!!
she is right. I saw it and I bet you could find it on the web. NAT GEO's show Doomsday preppers showed one lady who did just this....she later had a preppers party and served deviled eggs....the eggs were 8 months old! looked perfectly fine to me....

have you made chinese salted egg before, is easy, I did that twice when eggs was on sale. boil up some very salty water, let you cool down, pour it into a glass jar then put eggs(uncook) in, close the lid tightly. leave in room tempature for 40 days. take it out, and you will get salted eggs! I like to steam it and eat with rice. the finish product can be kept in the fridge for 1-2 months.

How wonderful!
http://www.woodlandbakeryblog.com/se...leftover-eggs/
Here's how to test to see if they are still good:
Fill a bowl with cold water and place the egg inside.
If the egg sinks to the bottom, it's fresh.
If the egg sinks to the bottom, but stands on its point, it's still good but needs to be used soon.
If the egg floats to the top, it needs to be discarded.
Since egg shells are porous, overtime the liquid in the egg evaporates and is replaced by outside air. This results in more buoyant eggs.
