Yes, true but with this shop I had coupons for free butter, $2.00 off naturegg whites, $1.00 off So Good, $5.00 off Ice Cream and about $15.00 in overages that went to my food purchases. The shampoo and conditioner goes to youth living on their own which gives them more money to spend on food. It's a win-win deal.

    Great shop!

Where are you located that you can get overages at Pricesmart? I thought you had to be within 5% of the price?

I'm in the lower mainland and most SOF and PS that I visit don't calculate the difference. As long as you have enough in your basket to cover the overage.

The SOF I go to follows the the 5% overage limit. The Price Smart I go to, the manager said, "As long as the coupons don't go over [the retail price]." Where are the stores that don't care about the amount of overage?
