What's your favorite meat dish? hmmmm this is a hard one, my go to would be chicken parm I guess, but I love roasted chicken or chicken pot pie. Like Venuila, he prefers red meat but since I usually cook, he often gets told to eat it or make his own LOL

Favorite veggies in your home? Mushrooms, Zucchini, broccoli, - for the recipes, I love onions but he HATES them so something without onion would be good

Favorite sort of store to do your groceries? eg. small mom & pops sort of place, ethnic store, large grocery store, deli, butcher, farmer's market, etc.?Tell us about it.
Ummmm, I usually hit the Farmers Mkt, the new Chinese grocer that opened near me and a grocery store (whichever is cheapest that week), we did a work trade off with a butcher so currently have a fair amount of meat and I have only been buying chicken or ground and then the European deli (more for snacks than the deli stuff but we do get deli stuff while we are there LOL)

Do you have a gas or electric stove? electric

I have a question that is not really a buddy question, our teflon pan is scratched and we wanted to replace it with a ceramic one, but not spend piles of $$
Does anyone have a ceramic pan? Ceramic or just coated? Any deals on them?

The 12" Orgreenic is $40 in the as seen on tv store but looks kinda flimsy, I have seen sturdier ones for $60ish but don't know which ones to buy

We usually eat chicken and pork dishes. DH is a meat and potatoes kind of guy.

Favorite veggies in your home? We eat just about anything except onions . DH is fussier then me. We mostly eat potatoes, corn, carrots, etc....

I mostly shop at Sobeys/Superstore/Walmart...wherever the best deals are. There is a local general store that sells everything you could think of and usually has some good deals. We buy almost all our meat from a local grocery store because they have awesome deals on chicken and pork.

The onine reviews I've seen are, for the most part, not very positive. Have you tried cast iron frying pans? We have a couple of ancient Wagner skillets and one Le Creuset that we love cooking with. We even use them in the oven for baking as well. If you decide to go with iron, I'd suggest spending on the best quality ones or, find the best quality second hand (our Wagners were hand-me-downs, Le Creuset I found at a church sale). They will save you money in the long run because you'll never have to buy another pan again...they'll outlast you and a future generation or two .

What's your favorite meat dish? Probably pork tenderloin. Have a good teriyaki recipe I got from my sister years ago, that the family loves. And now when making pork kebabs or pork souvlaki, I use pork tenderloin, cause so much more tender. But we also enjoy chicken and steak.

Favorite veggies in your home? broccoli, carrots, squash, potatoes, and bell peppers for the whole family - and I love sweet potatoes - we can't eat too much kale, chard or spinach, even though we enjoy them, because they are very high in oxalates, which is bad for dh's kidney stones

Favorite sort of store to do your groceries? eg. small mom & pops sort of place, ethnic store, large grocery store, deli, butcher, farmer's market, etc.?Tell us about it. grocery stores like RCSS and YIG, but also love Farm Boy (small local chain with produce, meat, bakery and deli) and Bulk Barn

Do you have a gas or electric stove? neither - as of Thursday, when my new range gets delivered, will have an induction range
