We are going to my Dad's house tomorrow along with about 15 others for our Thanksgiving meal. I don't have to bring anything this year so I may go shopping in the morning. A lot of the stores are open here which is unusual.

Should have guessed..lol..half of my family is on their way there as well, must be good time to go or something, my cousin was on Criss Angel's show last season, she was excited.I will probably never get there, dh doesnt want to go..lol

My parents get to babysit the critters. The dog will be thrilled, cause she gets away with murder with them. The cat actually misses me when I'm not around (he's the jealous boyfriend type).

i Have never even had a real vacation with dh..lol..no honeymoon either..we are hoping to save up for next years anniversary #13..not sure where to go though, i dont really have any girlfriends to go anywhere with..

Just trying to stay busy, anniversary of my Mom's death 18 years ago tomorrow (sure doesn't seem that long), weird that it actually falls on our Thanksgiving this year. My husband's Dad also died on thanksgiving day (16 years ago today). My Dad has remarried & now I have all this step-family (I'm an only child). Anyways, at least will be with family this year.

Andit, sounds like your critters are going on a vacation also.

Good morning! I'm again VERY behind on the thread...sigh...so little time to do what I want to do! You get a few days off, and things just keep on needing to be done. Also, it seems that everytime I think I'm going to get on line, my dad decides that he wants to talk (meaning tell me the stories about stuff that happened a long time ago that I've heard a hundred times...!). I don't want to be rude, so I just sit and listen and pretend that I've never heard it before. I know that I won't always have him, so I really don't mind listening, but it does cut into the time that I would like to be here. Oh, well!

Anyway, I hope I can get caught up today. I really miss y'all when I can't be here!

Jettred, many ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))) )))))))))) to you. I know exactly how you feel about the anniversary of your mother's death. I lost mine suddenly 6 year ago last August. We were both very lucky to have wonderful mothers. I miss mine every day, as I know you do to. Take care. Oh, before I forget to tell you, if you want to go to a Walmart on Black Friday, come up to Springville. I went there last year, and it wasn't crowded at all, and I was able to get all of the things that I went for. Hopefully, it will be the same this year. I hope they have some good buys on things I need!
