Headed to bed after an exhausting day... My oldest had her 6th birthday party today! I have a whole new appreciation for grade one teachers after having 20 of them for 2.5hrs. All on all it was a great day.
Had to try not to giggle when one of the girls told me "my daddy doesn't live with us anymore because he kisses fat chubby girls". But the more I thought about it- the sadder I became- while I understand some marriages breakdown for whatever reason- when there is kids involved- there is just some things you keep to yourself- especially when they are that young. Hopefully this young lady grows up knowing that both her parents love her and learns to have security and self worth. And also that she learns to look beyond a persons appearance to see what is on the inside.
It never ceases to amaze me that some parents don't realize just what values they are passing on to their kids- not only in what they do but what they say.
