Last week I got a SCOP at Shoppers Drug Mart but had to walk the cashier and the supervisor through it.
I was back the other day and found some "Metallic" Sally Hanson nail polish on sale for $6.49. ( regular price $10. Something.
It rang in at the $10. Something. (Same young woman that I had "walked" through the SCOP process last week.)
She called for someone to check out the posted price - yes, it was posted at $6 .49 . So she changes it to $6.49.
I said, "Shouldn't it be free?" And I once again, like last week, pointed to the SCOP rules posted on her cash register.
She informed me that, "No, because it was priced over $10, that the SCOP didn't apply."
I then read her the part which outlined that I should be granted UP to $10 back which would mean it would be free.
She called over the supervisor who immediately corrected her.
Whew! Finally a SCOP!
Then today I went to RCSS and picked up some more clearance things. Two hair "Thingies" were in the .54 bin. One rung up at $5.49. They did check but no problem, FREE!

I got a SCOP at sdm last week (TML picture came up as $19.99 instead of $14.00)
When I mentioned SCOP to the cashier she looked at me like I was insane . Showed her the sign. Still looked at me like I'm crazy. Manager came over and gave me SCOP no problem but sheesh, the cashier should have known this!

Good for you for getting it. I have no problem at all asking for it either. Its great getting a freebie, lol, but the way I look at it, is that its more important than that,,,,,i shop quite a bit based on price and i know quite a few people that do to (especiallly for items where brands really don't make a difference) and when you are on a budget and your shopping bill can be $100, $200, etc. its sometimes hard to make sure that all your items are rung up with the correct price and I don't think it is fair at all to have a shelf price and advertise a price, only to have it ring up wrong. Just like, when cashiers sometimes ring in more items than what you bought, or not deduct your coupon properly. I just casually point it out and get it corrected. I understand that mistakes happen, so I am not upset or anything. However, I do get frusterated and mad with how it is handled sometimes, like cashier is rude about it. Like yesterday I was at WM and price matching and the cashier had to ask, no problem, she said she didn't know, but the csm came over and her comment was, 'just give it to her, the line up is long',,,,like I had done something so long, so I laughed and said, 'you don't sound so enthused' and she just walked away. I have worked in customer service and it is hard I know, but I am pretty sure the csm could have said something a little different!
