TV is a replacement for my old, very heavy tube TV. I'm enjoying it, but sadly it will not work with my Satellite's universal remote.

Will be getting back 30,000 Optimum points from the Shoppers coupon

I was really confused at first too. I thought I misheard her, so I just smiled and didn't say anything. But then I went back to the electronics section and she said "Yep, you guys and your funny money. Have to do it a weird way!"

Thankfully there was a very nice young man in the electronics section who cashed me out, without extra comments

Awesome! Smart shopper u are! Why did u buy the GC @ SDM? do you get optimum points on it? If yes, I'll be picking up that habit so i'll just prepare myself for any " funny money" comments or the like...That was rather rude of her to say-- just a hater she was!

i have the same TV only mine is 24in...i love he built in dvd player. but i paid around $230- for it 2 yrs ago. ;-(

Yep, you do earn Optimum points on Shoppers Gift Cards only.
So instead of just paying the $22 in cash I bought a $25 GC first, and earn 250 points on it.

Mine doesn't have the DVD player (which I didn't want anyways).
I debated waiting longer to see if the 32" would go on sale, but I decided even if they did, with the eco fees and taxes it would put it out of my price range (I didn't want to have to spend any cash on it, just use my store credit).
