Good afternoon. Friday started off good, got tickets to Heart and only worked till noon. But around dinner time got a call, and one of my two friends with stage 4 passed away. Man did he battle it, started having back pain in December and never recovered. I grew up with Scott starting in grade seven. We stayed close for 10 years then drifted apart. Then one day my co-worker came in a said his buddy knows me. So we ended up getting back together five years ago. And it turns out his better half and I went to school with in grade 3 to 6 before she moved away, small world. Still trying to decide if I tell my other friend, he knew him a bit from hockey but not really close. He is the one who had his back fused because it had deterreated so much. Life is wonderful but sometimes it sucks!

If I were you, I'd tell your other friend. He just might want to know, but your decision of course.

WOW-your daughter certainly resembles you. The eyes are so similar! I love my mom but can someone please tell her she is welcome to be here but to stop rearranging the furniture! I told Jester she was working on the kitchen this morning. I understand she wants to feel comfortable but I dont think she gets that this is my familys home and not hers. I think I am panicking because there is no end in sight, no solution to the very complicated problem that has found her here and she is putting her head in the sand about it all!
OMG-Sorry to complain, I will stop now...

Oh my! I hope she settles down and comes to understand that she needs to respect your home. You're a good daughter to help her out in her time of need. I hope that thought helps you make it through your trials and tribulations.
