    I went to SDM today to pick up a couple of grocery items like eggs and crackers, little did I know that I would come across these sour cream dips on the shelf(short expiry) with $3 off manager special sticker on them. They are all on sale for $2.99 each.

    Here's the breakdown:

    Heluva Garlic & Parmesan 7 x $2.99 = $20.93
    Heluva Fiesta Salsa 5 x $2.99 = 14.95

    I got $35.88 worth of free dip and $0.12 cents overage plus I got 20x for this purchase together with the other grocery items and crackers.

    I kept 2 dips for myself and gave the rest to my mom => she's having a party at her place tonight.

    That's awesome! Perfect timing for your moms party. I love it when I find stuff like that at sdm. They had sour cream on for 1.99 today and they had $2 off stickers. I grabbed 2 as they expire today and I'm not sure whether it can be frozen or not. It's nice to see they give it away like that rather then toss it.

    No, sour cream doesn't freeze, but it stays good for at least two weeks past the date.
