Rexall Does Not Accept Coupons on Sale Items

I've never had any problems using coupons on clearance or sale items at Rexall.Yesterday i used 2 x$1 cpns on purse size christmas themed Purell hand sanitizer that were on clearance; I've used cpns in the past on 3 day sale for Colgate toothpaste & as late as last Thursday on Royale Velour TP.
I must say that it is possible it varies by store; My DH had an issue in the past with a particular SDM though....Im gonna get my toothbrushes for free though I don't know where yet lol.

My rexall does not allow me to use coupons on sale items. I think I've only been in that store once or twice in the last 6-7 years.

I've had problems with coupons and sale/clearance items with the downtown Toronto locations - It's a hassle as well - I remember calling HO and complaining about it and they seem to not really have a policy and said it was up to the store to decided (if I remember correctly...) Def an annoyance... try to PM elsewhere... but there clearance sometimes is just so good without coupons Sorry about your experience

Yeah, unfortunately I emailed head office and they confirmed that they are not supposed to accept coupons on sale items.

Hit and miss at mine, really depends on who's working, for the most part they will only ring in the price of the item (round down the coupon)

My Rexall is 50/50 when using coupons. Been refused, been accepted. I don't expect much when going there, it's a bonus if they take the coupon. Noticed the new stores & promoting in downtown Toronto this month. Good luck competing with SDM.

Queen and Uni, Toronto. Grand opening yesterday and sales all weekend. Their e-flyer won't produce a unique link for this location for me to post, but if you look it up and are in the area there's some great prices.

ETA there was also 50 Air miles WUS $50. I think this may be after coupons. I spent $14 yesterday after coupons (pre-coupon total was $30 ish) and didn't even get the base Air Mile for every $15 spent.
