So what are my real savings above with this points program?
Generally on sale I often see the Cherrios for $3.99 so in that sense the average savings over other retailers is $0.20/box. (But I have seen it lower)
$2.50 on the yogurt so a savings of $0.83/tub.
Buying both offers on average leaves an extra $4.32 in your pocket vs. buying elsewhere. As I'm most likely to use the points towards the ferry & hotels the savings will be above $4.32

Bonus us point offers CAN be combined, download the phone app and then you can add in the 375 fir $35 and 500 for $50 - some cashiers do not like to scan them all but if you ask them ' to try' you will be happily surprised that they all get applied!
Don't forget, like SDM you can reduce your OP with coupons and still hit the thresholds

Hmm...no GC offer in my flyer....perhaps it is an 'island special' - for being new to the market there?!

Could be although there have always been Save-Ons here.
Was just at Costco:
The better offer would be this one:

Yes, you can combine bonus point offers, although I find I have to ask most cashiers to 'give it a try' for scanning - the system will apply them.
i find it best to use the phone app because it always has the 375 for $35 and 500 for $50 offers.
and don't forget, like at SDM, coupons count to total value to help reduce OOP to threshold, including FPCs.

I have full coverage and no costco membership. Not all pharmacies are equal. I am going to go with Shoppers because if i am sick they will deliver for free, I can get things like ankle braces and canes and they are close to where I live and pretty close to my doc's office. If i am having a high pain day and i still need asthma prescriptions i can drop it off and have them deliver it.
Most of the time things like dispensing fees really matter (probably close to 95% of the time)... but in my case spending extra gas money to get a prescription doesn't work and turns it into a financial and sometimes a physical fail.

Great points Cheeky .... I am on the Island -- like OB --- no longer having any safeways (weird). I rarely get out to where the Costco is in Victoria and like Cheeky - when you are needing a prescription filled - the last thing I want to do is go way out of my way to get it done....
Sorry to highjack your SOF thread but on prescriptions - do you get points for them at SDM? I thought you would and so I moved my prescriptions there about 2 months ago - but no optimum points on anything I've filled so far. What am I missing?
Love the new SOF thread ... Thanks OB

Not as good as Safeway's B$100G100 Airmiles but still it's an offer. A B$100G100 Safeway offer works out 10.5%. The SOF B$100G2000 is between 3% and 5% while the B$200G5,000: is between 4.5% and 7% depending on how you use the points. I rarely buy $100 at a time so the offer is meaningless to me.
