Small Petsmart Brag + PetPerks Update

Here's what I got at Petsmart yesterday:

3x Molly's Bakery Easter Dog Cookies Reg. $4.99 each Sale $2.47
These cookies smell really good, and the ingredients are excellent. It comes with 3 medium size cookies and 3 carob treats. My dog doesn't normally eat hard treats, but he loves these.

2x 354g cans Blue Buffalo canned dog food (one thanksgiving day feast, and one Sunday chicken dinner) Reg. $2.99 each Sale $2.69 minus PetPerks coupon for 2 FREE cans of wet dog food from the following brands: Blue Buffalo, Wellness, Organix, Natural Choice, Science Diet, Authority max. $5 Value
I paid $0.19 each

Price before sales and coupon: $23.67
I paid: $8.80


PetPerks update:

For those of you who have PetPerks, PetSmart has made some updates to their program. I don't know exactly how it works, but they have been emailing out alot of coupons as well as coupons coming out on your receipt when you use your card. In March I received a $10 off your purchase of $50 or more, when I used that coupon in April I received a coupon for the 2 FREE cans of dog food, amd then when I used that coupon I received a coupon for $1 off Milkbone brushing bites. The coupons only work when the cashier scans your card first.

I also have a friend who received an email coupon for $15 off her purchase of $15 or more with PetPerks Rewards stated on the top of the coupon. I think you get them when you spend a certain amount of money. What?! I know, I'm totally jealous.

I do know that these coupons are only emailed, so if you don't have your email address attached to your PetPerks card, now would be the time to add it (via forms at PetSmart), and you should register your card on petsmart.com (you need to have an email attached to your card before you can register it online) if you have't already done so. You don't need to register your card to use it or to get some of the coupons, but there are more benefits if you do. Also, it is more beneficial to always scan your card even if you don't get any sales with it that visit.

I thank you as well for the info on the Petsmart card. I still have yet to return my form. I was looking around the store and didn't think it would be worthwhile getting the card but if they send out coupons to members via email then I will definitely give it a try.

If you fill in your pet(s) birthmonth(s) they will email you a coupon for a free treat ($3 for cats with $10 purchase, $4 for dogs with a $15 purchase, not sure about other pets) during their birth month.
